A paradise tavern, at the gateway to this wonderful world is Rosario, the Master of Keys, the Innkeeper, the Count of Montecristo, and the virtuoso of the pan. Rosario welcomed us, pampered us, and advised us, and we spent a delightful evening with him. He single-handedly managed the restaurant, both inside and outside the kitchen, with a professional yet playful approach, allowing guests to embark on a flawless culinary journey worthy of the finest taverns, using excellent ingredients and delicious traditional Benevento dishes. Thank you, Rosario!!!

Lost in the alleys of Benevento... And then we found Paradise!! Taverna Paradiso is a rustic place where you can feel the warm atmosphere and the dishes taste like home... We filled up on flavors... Friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and more than fair prices! Rating 100/100

A typical osteria with highly professional service and food preparation. Excellent, high-quality food, all served by knowledgeable and, above all, extremely friendly staff. It was an excellent dining experience, one we'll definitely repeat. There isn't a single dish we'd recommend more, as they're all exceptional.

I came here for lunch by chance with my partner. We often come to Benevento but have never had the chance to try this place. Absolutely exceptional. Fantastic welcome. Very friendly staff and top-notch home-cooked food!! Highly recommended.

Lunch with friends. A true tavern atmosphere, where you can feel the soul. The freshest, highest-quality ingredients. Masterfully executed traditional Benevento dishes, reinterpreted with Rosario's own personal touch. A large wine cellar with some very interesting bottles. We enjoyed a 1998 Rubrato dei Feudi di San Gregorio, which Rosario had carefully opened that morning to let it air properly in the decanter. Everything was perfect. And what about Rosario? Any comment would be limiting. If you really know him, there's no need for further words. If you don't yet, don't hesitate. Rosario will be part of a pleasant experience you'll always fondly remember!

Locale in una piccola stradina nel centro beneventano locale molto caratteristico, antipasto piatto, salumi e formaggi, molto buono, genovese leggermente saporita di sale nel contesto buono. Il secondo tiella beneventana e maialino con salsa BBQ buono. Per farsi perdonare per la genovese, il proprietario ci ha regalato una crostata con crema di limone e liquore alla strega. Complimenti a tutti

16/08/2025: I rarely leave reviews because my husband and I often travel unplanned, so we end up eating at the first place we come across, with almost always disappointing results. However, this little restaurant on the edge of the Taburno Park pleasantly surprised us! The location is exceptional, surrounded by simple, well-decorated greenery. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially considering we arrived unannounced and late at night. And the food...what can I say? You can taste the passion they put into it. Simple dishes are enhanced by the authenticity and freshness of the ingredients. I was amazed to find gnocco fritto (which I never thought I'd eat at these latitudes 😄) prepared to perfection, and everything else was excellent. The price, too, is truly fair. The mulberry liqueur they make is simply divine! We hope to return soon to spend at least a couple of days.
