We enjoyed a 1998 Rubrato dei Feudi di San Gregorio, which Rosario had carefully opened that morning to let it air properly in the decanter. Everything was perfect. And what about Rosario? Any comment would be limiting. If you really know him, there's no need for further words. If you don't yet, don't hesitate. Rosario will be part of a pleasant experience you'll always fondly remember!

In the heart of Benevento's historic center, Taverna Paradiso boasts a charming location reminiscent of the atmosphere of old-world taverns: rustic furnishings, warm lighting, and a welcoming atmosphere that exudes the tradition and authenticity of the region. It's a place that invites you to sit down and indulge in the flavors of local cuisine. The menu features typical Benevento dishes, a true tribute to the Samnite culinary tradition. We chose some specialties pre-prepared, as it wasn't possible to cook them fresh. This was an understandable choice, but it partially impacted the overall experience. The dishes were overall good, with ingredients reminiscent of authentic, home-cooked cuisine. However, a couple of dishes weren't entirely convincing: in particular, the cod tart, which was dry and lacking in flavor, a bit too far from the balance one would expect from such a dish. Despite a few niggles, Taverna Paradiso remains a pleasant place, perfect for those seeking a culinary experience steeped in tradition. Perhaps with a greater focus on freshness and freshly prepared food, it could truly become a must-visit for lovers of Benevento cuisine.

Locale in una piccola stradina nel centro beneventano locale molto caratteristico, antipasto piatto, salumi e formaggi, molto buono, genovese leggermente saporita di sale nel contesto buono. Il secondo tiella beneventana e maialino con salsa BBQ buono. Per farsi perdonare per la genovese, il proprietario ci ha regalato una crostata con crema di limone e liquore alla strega. The quality exceeds expectations and every detail is taken care of with great attention. The overall experience was fantastic: the staff was extremely courteous and professional, always ready to answer all my questions.
