Comimos en La Taverna di Cecco en Siena en nuestras recientes vacaciones de dos semanas en Italia con otras dos parejas. Encontramos este restaurante en una de las calles laterales y disfrutamos mucho de la comida y el servicio.

Cena in famiglia. Vastissima scelta di piatti dagli antipasti ai primi, secondi , contorni per non parlare della lista vini. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità e quantità Personale professionale e gentilissimo, abbiamo preso pappardelle al ragù di coniglio e gnocchi al ragù con porcini. Secondo maialino arrosto, entrecott ai porcini e filetto accompagnato con patate arrosto. Tutto veramente ottimo. Consigliatissimo e ci torneremo alla prossima visita.

11/12/2025: We came here to have a wine lover's lunch as part of the tour. The restaurant and the view from there are gorgeous. I felt like I was in a movie set. First: Beef tartare —it was so fresh, with no chewiness or meat flavor. It was very refreshing. Second: Homemade pici with basil pesto — it was not easy to eat. I love the texture of pasta, too. It was nicely cooked and seasoned. Wine: Brunello wines paired with food were excellent. The ones that they served for us were not available for purchase. I really enjoyed the (Moscadello)sweet wine. It was neither too heavy nor too sweet, like sherry. This experience taught me about Brunello and Moscadello. I wish I could get them in the U.S. I am still dreaming about this food and place.

09/12/2025: Delicious food and service. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try Tuscan food in a truly delicious way. It's presented beautifully.
08/12/2025: A strategically located restaurant with a distinctive personality, where you can find a wide variety of wines. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Good, high-quality food, from cured meats to cheeses (the three-milk cheese on the platter is truly excellent). The ribollita is very good, presented with some creativity. The pasta dishes are excellent, especially the paccheri, which pleasantly surprised everyone. The cantucci are delicious. A highly recommended place, and we'll be back as soon as we can.
