Great place to eat well and spend modestly at altitude above 600 meters, growing vegetables, nice first courses, good roasts... courteous staff except the cashier who seemed a little unfriendly to me.

Excellent Crescia, excellent cured meats, cheese, salami, and cooked vegetables.
Excellent value for money.
Beautiful location, several rooms, large fireplace where they grill the meat.
Very attentive, kind, and friendly staff.
Luciana and her son Alessio served us: good and very kind.

At least once a year we make the journey from Ferrara to Frontone and back (460 km) for a sort of pilgrimage to this temple of Marche cuisine.
Tagliatelle and ravioli with duck or mushroom ragù, grilled lamb, potatoes and herbs, and the incomparable crescia with cured meats and cheeses.
And after lunch, a stroll to the top of a "rock" that is Frontone Castle, a 360-degree terrace overlooking Mount Catria and the marvelous Marche hills.
Five stars for everything because I hope nothing ever changes.
Thank you for existing.

Every dish was wonderful. Best food I've had in Italy so far! Recommend to reserve a seat outside. The view is wonderful.

Da sempre una garanzia. Nella stupenda location all'interno del castello l'atmosfera accogliente è assicurata dal personale gentile e dal servizio puntuale. Ormai storica la crescia, ottima sia la carne alla griglia che il coniglio in porchetta. Spettacolari le patate arrosto e le erbe ripassate. Porzioni più che generose anche nei dolci. Consigliatissimo

Tornati dopo vari anni, eravamo timorosi perché avevamo letto giudizi non esattamente positivi
Ma conoscendo il posto da una vita abbiamo sfidato la sorte
Per fortuna direi
Chi scrive cose negative o è pazzo o pagato dalla concorrenza
Abbiamo trovato cordialità e cibo sempre ottimo
La crescia eccezionale , la pasta fatta a mano non si batte e il tiramisu più buono di sempre
Porzioni enormi
