I have come to the Taverna del Vecchio Borgo several times for dinner and it has always been a positive experience. The menu is very interesting and suitable for the location and the area. Tagliata and Fiorentine cooked at the fireplace in front of the guests. Delicious appetizers, warm cheeses, truly exceptional first courses, truffles and game. The wine cellar is very well stocked, I personally bought a Wrapper for myself, the best Monteregio. Overall, everything is very pleasant and the manager is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth it

Location splendida, taverna nella pietra, unica. Piatti ottimi, buoni i crostini e i primi. Fiorentina da urlo con contorni gustosissimi. Prezzo molto conveniente! Da provare

We chose this place on the recommendation of local people to taste the Florentine, with very high expectations which, unfortunately, were only partially satisfied. We had dinner in the small room at the entrance, made up of a few tables and unfortunately not air conditioned (at least the evening we were there), so we suffered a bit from the heat. The service was excellent: the waitress was very attentive and courteous, really compliments! As anticipated, we decided to try the Florentine steak, a cut weighing approximately 1.5 kg. Although the cooking was PERFECT, the meat was very nervous and at times difficult to eat... We probably weren't lucky with the piece. The flavor was still great, a real shame. The starter, side dish and desserts, however, were really good! Very honest prices. I would like to recommend the place.

Characteristic place. Very varied menu, we had first courses (tortelloni and a truffle first course) and Fiorentina. All very good, attentive and quick service. To be repeated!

Siamo arrivati per caso in questo ristorante ed abbiamo avuto un gran fortuna a scoprirlo perché è un locale storico che offre un'autentica cucina toscana tradizionale! Il braciere nel grande focolare e le volte a botte sono molto suggestivi. Ottimi piatti! Lo consigliamo!
