We've been visiting Claudio and his kitchen team for at least 20 years – and every time is an experience.
Claudio always takes the time for a few warm words, sometimes even for a little personal chat.
The Tuscan appetizers are divine, the truffle pasta is unmatched, and the grilled meat is among the best we've ever had.
We always return with joy.

Restaurant with a typical Tuscan village atmosphere. Well cared for in every detail from the furnishings to the table setting. The host and the waiting staff are super attentive and helpful. The dishes are typical of Tuscan cuisine, truly spectacular. Honorable mention for the Florentine steak, cooked on the fireplace in the dining room in front of the guests, perfect from every point of view. If you are in Massa Marittima you must stop here.

Lived in Italy for 6 years and this is one of the best meals I've had. Wonderfully friendly staff and the pasta was incredible. Reasonably priced too!

Potessi mettere una stella in più la metterei. Taverna incantevole medievale. il proprietario attento e competente un bel braciere nella sala, la tagliata ai porcini freschi è commovente, ottimi gli antipasti al tartufo, ottimi i dolci eccellente carta dei vini vocata al territorio ottimo rapporto qualità servizio e prezzo.

Found by chance and available for Sunday evening…..exceptional first courses, excellent meat cooked to perfection and equally exceptional desserts. Very efficient and friendly service and owner. Anyone lucky enough to pass through Massa Marittima must absolutely try it. COMPLIMENTS

We were recommended this restaurant and I must say it went well beyond expectations, everything was excellent quality from the cold cuts to the meat and finally the desserts, excellent wine (Brunello di Montalcino) and the service was very attentive and fast. We will definitely be back.

Un ristorante senza uguali. Il personale è professionale e disponibile la cucina è sempre pronta a soddisfare tutte le richieste anche dei più piccini, ma soprattutto ricca di prodotti tipici (tartufi, funghi, formaggi e soprattutto le carni di cinta e locali...). Si spazia dagli antipasti ai primi di altissima qualità, nonché carni meravigliose, per finire con dolci di tutti i tipi. Un posto da non dimenticare e ci torneremo sicuramente.

Siamo stati due volte in questo bel locale a due passi dal duomo di Massa Marittima e ne siamo usciti del tutto soddisfatti. Tutto squisito, antipasti, primi e splendida fiorentina a prezzo assolutamente ragionevole cotta alla brace in sala. Notevole carta dei vini, Personale attento cortese e garbato, proprietario competente e appassionato. Rapporto qualità prezzo davvero vantaggioso. Consigliatissimo
