We went for pizza. The dough was really delicious. It's a shame they put the tomato sauce on it completely raw, as if it had just been taken out of the tin, and the mozzarella wasn't perfectly melted. If they'd put it on the ingredients before cooking, the pizza would have been fabulous. This resulted in an American-style pizza that ruined the flavor. I think they do it to save time, but it makes a negative difference. It's a shame. Furthermore, the breaded cutlet the child had was overcooked, almost burnt on one side and therefore dry. I expected much more from a historic restaurant. I don't think we'll come again.

Excellent restaurant! Very good food and truly friendly and attentive staff. I absolutely recommend the tagliata: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I'll gladly return! 🦜🍽️

To get a perfect five, the staff needs to smile a little more. However, they are so busy that they don't have time to smile.
We went there twice for dinner in 2 days.
The first day we tried local meats and cheeses.
The second day pizza.
Both days local wine.
The overall experience was excellent. Unique local products, pizzas in the best Neapolitan tradition.
Desserts, you can choose a different one every night.
It's hard to choose other places besides a restaurant like this.
The prices are stimulating, you can eat whatever you want.

A classic tavern with a history since 1950. The staff is very kind, their food is excellent. After the first reservation we made another one the second day. If I come back to the area I will definitely visit it again!!!

Great place, unassuming from the outside, but delicious pizzas, super friendly waiters and waitresses, fast service, too bad we were too full after the pizzas to try the desserts which looked delicious!

Pizza with excellent dough and good ingredients. Delicious desserts.
The service is a bit rushed, but courteous.
The place is a true tavern with vaulted ceilings and brickwork. I would just take a little more care in cleaning the various decorative objects hanging from the ceiling and walls.

Vi prøvede flere gange at booke bord på restauranten - det var vanskeligt, men det lykkedes til sidst. Årsagen - rigtig mange gæster og det fandt vi ud af hvorfor ved vores besøg.
Personalet var meget servicemindede, smilende og venlige. Vi fik bord indenfor men ville helst have ude - de sagde vent vi finder et. Vi troede ikke helt på det, men efter ca. 10 minutter kom de og sagde vores bord var klart! Super service.
Vi bestilte pizza - 2 forskellige - og det er blandt de bedste pizzaer vi har fået. Stemningen og atmosfæren udenfor var helt i top. Desværre kunne vi ikke spise dessert, så det blev til kaffe og grappa.
Vi kan varmt anbefale dette sted. Kommer vi til Stresa igen, skal vi helt klart på denne restaurant igen.

For dinner tonight, we had been recommended to try this restaurant and we did make reservations. We started with the mixed fried appetizer, which was very good, and the sauce was nice and spicy, which we absolutely loved. My husband had the veal chop with bone, which was fried, and he definitely liked it. It was accompanied by arugula, tomatoes, and fries. I had the lasagna, which was probably one of the not good lasagnas I’ve had in my life. Absolutely no flavor. The lasagna noodles were great, nice and tender and thin. But that was it. Could not detect any tomato sauce at all in it. But the worst part was it had no flavor. And we were practically ignored the whole night as far as service. Thinking that that’s not good!
