Super nice in a magical corner. Not always easy to find at the end of a small corridor, but the place is very beautiful. The food is very good, even if the prices are not cheap.

I had high expectations for this restaurant, especially for the very beautiful and well-kept environment and the rather high prices. I thought I would find original and refined dishes, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The dishes are beautiful to look at, but the taste is not convincing: it lacks taste and personality. The service was very good: kind, helpful and prepared waiters. Overall, however, there are many other places in the city where you eat better, spend less and leave more satisfied.

Best Spritz I drank in Venice, good cicchetti and amazing atmosphere. Unfortunately there are few seats for the aperitif but in this it is not different from many other bacari.

The Select Spritz was amazing! Reservations are available on for dinner, for aperitivo you need to find a spot to sit outside (there are only few seats and table provided by the place itself) and ask for drinks and cicchetti inside. The view on the Canal Grande at sunset was spectacular

Been there with the kids one evening, one member of the staff has been very unpleasant with us. Food is ok but maybe not worth the hassle and not very good value for money!

My two Italian friends recommended this restaurant in Venice. We tried going on a Sunday but couldn’t get a table. Instead, we made a reservation for Monday and it was certainly worth it. All the seafood options for great. The tiramisu was just ok.

Locale molto bello e ben curato, posizione un po' defilata ma con bella vista. Cicchetti fatti al momento, con ingredienti di qualità, davvero superlativo.

Siempre especial para volver aquí. La tercera cena de cumpleaños que hemos celebrado aquí en los últimos 17 años. Hígado de Ternera y Pez Monje apoyados por deliciosas Patatas Asadas con Romero y Verduras Al dente. Semifredo y Tiramisu seguidos por un Macciato. Gracias a todo el personal. Volveremos. 18/05/2025: Ci ha attratti la scritta "No pizza, no lasagne"... Locale piccolo ma accogliente; musica di sottofondo molto piacevole; cucina con un tocco differente da altri locali veneziani. Fritto di pesce eccellente: in particolare, le vongole e le cozze in pastella erano veramente squisite. Ottimi anche i dolci. Titolari simpatici e disponibili. Lo consigliamo
02/01/2025: Der erste Gang (Tagliatelle mit Kalbsragout) äußerst schmackhaft und richtig heiß serviert, genau wie es sein soll. Der Hauptgang (Doradenfilet in frischer Orangensauce und Rucola) sehr delikat. Fisch und Orangen äußerst frisch und harmonierte gut zusammen. Den Rucola musste ich selbst anmachen, habe aber Balsamico, Olivenöl sowie Salz und Pfeffer bekommen, sodass dies gut gelungen ist. Das dazu gereichte Baguette, frisch und noch warm rundete alles gut ab. Wer gute authentische Küche sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Klare Empfehlung!

01/03/2025: Prima di pranzare a Venezia, uno deve fare bene i conti. Qui invece, abbiamo mangiato bene ad un prezzo decisamente onesto e penso, anche sotto la media delle trattorie veneziane. Tutto veramente buono, dall'antipasto al dolce (tiramisù esageratamente buono ed abbondante). Servizio veloce, professionale e anche "coccolo". Pienamente soddisfatti. Consigliatissimo .....e ricordatevi di prenotare, per non rimanere fuori a fare la fila.
27/02/2025: For our last evening in Venice, we chose Trattoria Bar Pontini because of its great reviews and ratings. We were not disappointed. You have to make a reservation if you want to dine here. It is a very popular restaurant with good reason. The atmosphere is joyful and upbeat. They had a table ready and waiting for us. Fabio was a terrific owner – he sailed through the restaurant making everyone feel welcome. I ordered the Cotoletta Vitella all Milanese, which was huge and perfectly battered and fried. I also ordered an Insalata Mista. My husband enjoyed the Filetto di Manzo Gorgonzola along with roast potatoes. I have to tell you they were the best roasted potatoes we had in all of Italy. They were to die for – crisp – not greasy – just fantastic! He finished with an enormous Tiramisu. One thing is for sure, you will not leave hungry from Trattoria Pontini.
