Bigoli very good, homemade pasta, friendly staff and very bright and clean environment… only flaw, on the menu the bigoli were 10€, on the bill 12€… it's not for the two euros, but you have to be transparent!

I have been to Taverna del Borgo in Cittadella and I was really satisfied.
The bigoli are the highlight of the menu, prepared with many different sauces, all delicious and abundant.
The wine is quality and perfectly accompanies the dishes.
The environment is welcoming and the staff very kind and helpful, always ready to recommend the best pairing between dishes and wines.
An ideal place for those who want to enjoy traditional Venetian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere.
I will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Very nice family business and there are homemade bigoli 🥰
The staff is very attentive and speaks good English and explains the dishes. The friendly lady even googled photos for me so I could see what I would order. That was great because that's how I came to polenta. Cittadella is famous for polenta!
The bigoli are amazing, I've eaten them here a few times already! So you'll be happy to come back...

Six of us had lunch and enjoyed some truly excellent bigoli. The menu offers a wide choice of sauces of all types to combine, satisfying all tastes.
Small note: a little more seasoning would have been appreciated.
The staff, despite being very busy for Sunday lunch, always remained courteous and helpful, despite the large number of tables to serve.

It's not the first time I've eaten at this place. Warm, welcoming and well furnished, for a real trattoria/tavern atmosphere, therefore ancient and with references to tradition.
Bigoli specialties: artisanal and with a truly vast choice of sauces to match, all very appetizing and inviting. I always opt for a bigolo in sauce, tradition dictates, with onion, anchovies and sardines; really super, tasty, creamy and well combined with the pasta. Nice generous portions that fill you up well.
Fixed menu also available, we chose the formula first, second and side dish, water and coffee all for a total of €15. For this last option, very valid, but I felt as if it wasn't something "theirs", but this choice is fully respected.
All in all, highly recommended, both for a non-demanding but satisfying family lunch; both to eat objectively well while spending equally well; or for a meal in the company of friends.
Price ranges from €10 to €15 for bigoli, so with less than €20 per person you're on top! 🍝

Coming to eat bigoli in this restaurant is truly a pleasure! The bigoli are made at the press and cooked at the moment; This is why sometimes the wait gets a little long. Yet the service is courteous and as an "entrée" while you wait, croutons arrive to spread with sauces of different flavours, e.g. olives and spicy sauce.
The bigoli are really special and the portions very generous. My favorite sauce is the carbonara one, with smoked bacon with a strong flavour, but the traditional ragù and the white ragù are also very good.

Abbiamo pranzato in questa trattoria, in occasione di una visita al bel borgo di Cittadella, in provincia di Padova.
Il giudizio è più che positivo.
Personale gentile e accogliente, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
Una menzione speciale va ai bigoli (specialità della casa) con il baccalà, una vera squisitezza.
Molto buono anche il secondo piatto.
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo per poter gustare i bigoli. Il "secondo" nome è infatti "bigolificio".
