La Taverna dei sapori represents a point of reference for the province of Parma for its mainly meat-based cuisine. The restaurant is very spacious with the possibility of eating outside and inside. Our journey began with a mix of culatello, culaccia and prosciutto crudo, and a mix of cheeses; the appetizers were absolutely promoted. The journey continued with two different cuts of meat, very good but the low temperature of the meat should be noted. Average price, considering an expense of about 50/60 euros per person with wine included.

I tried the restaurant (not the hotel) and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is large and is on two levels: a more intimate room on the lower floor and a large room with exposed beams on the upper floor, creating a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. As a Tuscan who loves meat, I can confirm that the quality is high. They offer a wide selection of cuts, some of which are difficult to find elsewhere. Meat lovers will definitely be satisfied in this place. The prices are fair, even if some particular cuts can be more expensive than elsewhere. Personally, I enjoyed a delicious rare sliced ​​steak for €23 and was very satisfied. My friends opted for a mixed grill and they also enjoyed it a lot. The wine list is well-stocked, even if some labels could be slightly cheaper. To conclude, I tried a chocolate cake, my passion, which was good but with a creamy center that could be improved. The service was friendly and attentive, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. I have already recommended this restaurant to other colleagues and I will definitely return to taste the Florentine steak, I am curious to try it.
