A beautiful entrance, it looks like an ancient residence, with a large atrium and stairs leading to the restaurant below. As soon as you get off, on the right is a room with a window overlooking the valley, while on the left is the lounge with the other tables. The menu is typical of local cuisine. We had two first courses: the carrati with lamb ragù, really tasty, you could feel the care taken in cooking the ragù, and the tagliolini with saffron and truffle. The saffron prevailed over the truffle, but still very good. We follow with a shoulder of lamb marinated in herbs and cooked on the grill, and I must say that the herbs managed to make themselves felt in a balanced way. An interesting dish. A wine list that mainly offers Abruzzo products, much appreciated, pleases me. Pleasant service. Hospitable environment.

Super nice place for lunch after hiking in Abruzzo. Gnocchi with white ragu, lamb and liver sausages are highly recommended.

Ambiente accogliente e curato, camerieri molto gentili e servizio rapidissimo nonostante fosse pieno. Abbiamo scelto antipasti caldi e freddi davvero ottimi. In aggiunta abbiamo assaggiato i salumi. Paté, giardiniera e salumi deliziosi. Pane eccezionale. Poi abbiamo optato per il tris di primi. Gli gnocchi al ragù di gallina erano squisiti. Meno i ravioli. Il sugo aveva un gusto acidulo. L’altro primo, sempre rosso di cui non ricordo il nome, buono. Purtroppo non siamo riusciti a gustare un secondo perché troppo pieni. Torneremo presto!

Uovo con tartufo come antipasto che lascia senza parole. Ricottina calda, fagioli, insalata di funghi, agnello… giro di antipasti che potrebbe bastare come pasto. Anche i primi sono buonissimi ed abbondanti. Buoni vini abruzzesi. Gentilezza e competenza dello staff

A good traditional tavern. Nice atmosphere and good dishes. Honest price quality. Worth trying without being disappointed.

Visiting Pacentro, a beautiful village to visit, we had lunch in this restaurant in the historic center. They have two rooms, one of which is panoramic, tastefully furnished, where I recommend eating. The menu includes typical local dishes, cooked very well. The service in the room is attentive and scrupulous. Prices related to the quality of what you eat. Good wine list. The food is good, so I recommend it.

We had lunch in this restaurant, the place exudes antiquity, the service is fast and the waiters are kind, the food had nothing special, the cold cuts of the starters were good even if the plating left something to be desired, the guitar with truffle and saffron it only tasted of butter, the other first courses, although better, had no bite. The roasts were good, the salad was small, full of oil and salt. I believe that for €18 for a first course and €5 for a portion of salad you need to have something more.
