It's a guarantee. A warm and welcoming atmosphere; attentive and discreet service; excellent and meticulously prepared dishes, made with the highest-quality ingredients and with a particular focus on seasonality. It's a must-try in Ravenna.

I can't give the food a higher rating because the portions are very small. Dishes like spaghetti, tagliatelle, and lasagna come with very little food, even though they're served on giant porcelain plates. If you only order one of these dishes, you'll probably leave the restaurant hungry. If you order two, which is the idea behind the place, it will obviously be more expensive. The prices are slightly higher than at nearby restaurants of a similar level or quality. The food quality is good, and the restaurant's atmosphere is sophisticated, elegant, and features jazz music. The service and the owner's attention are very friendly; sometimes the owner chats with regular customers for a while. *I would recommend that the owners be more generous with the pasta portions. Thank you.

Amazing homemade pasta, excellent service, and a quiet, intimate atmosphere. You can also ask for a gluten-free first course! The side dishes deserve special mention. They're not banal, and the quality vegetables are beautifully cooked! I'll be back!

Finally a weekend with my wife... and we started with a delicious dinner! Stylish place with just a few tables, so it's quiet. Impeccable service. Tasty dishes! Don't miss the cotoletta alla Bolognese and the cappelletti!

Top-notch hospitality, well-maintained venue, attention and customer service like never seen anywhere else, truly very warm (I'm referring to the lady, the gentleman, I think her husband, who wasn't very welcoming). The only flaw: the tortellini! I'm sorry, but they weren't good or of the highest quality.

We had dinner here this evening, everything was perfect. The lasagna and cappelletti (the broth should be drunk from the cup because it has a different flavor) were truly excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, but never intrusive. When we return to Ravenna, it will be a regular stop.

The allure of the history of Ravenna brought us to this Italian treasure. After visiting the Basilica Sam Vitali we had the pleasure of having a quick lunch at Al Cairoli. The restaurants is a classy establishment in the old town. Our waitress was incredible friendly and welcoming. She definitely made the experience even more memorable. We love attention to detail when it comes to the atmosphere and the food. Al Cairoli provides this in spades! The wine list provides plenty of local and international options. We were short on time but I am sure we could have had no trouble settling in for an enjoyable afternoon. We had soups as an entree before the mains. All dishes were delicious. The Pork Cheek was tender and flavoursome. The Tiramisù desert was as good as I have ever tried. We thoroughly recommend Al Cairoli for a memorable meal.

Lovely restaurant located in the old "Callegari" housewares store which closed on 2016 due to retirement after 28 years in business ... This small Al Cairoli restaurant replaced the store run by "Gigi" Gianluca Callegari and Silvia Stanghellini Perilli and their son Costantino.
