Very warm welcome, attentive and friendly service. We were amazed by the chef's creative surprise menu. Delicious and refined. For a different menu... definitely worth trying!

We had a wonderful experience - and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We started with just 6 people - but ended up with 12. They were great! The chef prepared a wonderful 5-course meal for us all. Could not have been better! This is why Taverna Angelica is one of my favorite restaurants in Rome!

Congratulations on the wonderful experience you've created. Quality food, impeccable service, and great expertise. It's hard to find a place that isn't touristy in this area, but I finally found it. Highly recommended!

This gourmet restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed! A very friendly welcome by Francesco (who speaks good French!) and his colleague. Very original and delicious cuisine, bravo to the chef! We discovered new flavors, which is what we wanted!

Good restaurant, nice choice of menu from a la carte to tasting menu. Food was good but missing the final touch to move up. Overall was a great experience that I suggest for a romantic dinner or small group. Wine pairing was ok.

A very good experience, with a very interesting selection of dishes. Although the menu isn't extensive, the selections are very well-crafted, with impeccable presentation and very original flavors. I would definitely return. Highly recommended.

Excellente nourriture et service aux petits soins. Nous avons choisis de faire confiance au chef Lucas avec 7 services et l'accord mets-vins. Les vins étaient originaux et se mariaient parfaitement avec les plats. Une excellente expérience gastronomique !

non è facile trovare al Borgo un ristorante che proponga una cucina di ricerca, in mezzo a tanti locali turistici. per noi è stata una scoperta. si vede che ci sono passione, lavoro e impegno, sia da parte dello chef che di cui ci ha servito, sia nella proposta e descrizione dei piatti, nel servizio in generale, sia indice nella cura del locale, che ci e' piaciuto molto

21/10/2025: Excellent food and friendly staff. You choose the meat and cut at the meat counter, and with good wine, the meal was excellent! Generous portions and excellent value.

Gran Caffe' Del Passeggero

12/12/2025: A unique restaurant in the heart of Rome. As locals we always are looking for new places and explore the Menue, Service and cleanliness. Located near the Piazza Republica, this restaurant is part of a Hotel and its a jewel for locals and Tourists, for a quite, elegant experience. Service Our Waiter Assif was very kind, helpful in decision making and very attentive. Only he was busy and wasn't always present in our dining room. The restaurant is very inviting and clean! It's decoration, especially during the holidays is amazing! It is one of very few restaurants My husband and I have visited that its restroom is clean. A little check would have been necessary, since the restaurant was well equiped and after a couple of hours the ladies room needed a swipe and Desinfektion. We thank the staff of a very nice experience!!! Outside dining I winter is possible at a table with a fireplace in-between, which makes a unique experience.
12/12/2025: Lucho was a very good waiter. Attentive and I liked the service. The Aperol was all very tasty, I loved it 😍☺️
