Loved this little taverna. The food was excellent and a lovely bottle of wine recommended to match our food. We had stuffed nasturtium flowers, fresh pasta and then a fresh fish to share. The tiramusu was awesome. Excellent service will definitely go back.

Not everything that shines is gold, Pasta undercooked, Pulpo overcooked, lamb was okay, risotto undercooked, and the amatriciana was not toasted. The score is because flavor-wise it was tasty and the service was okay too. But the execution on the dishes, for the price especially, was not perfect. Tiramisu did not even have savoiardi cookies! A crime.

Taverna Agape is one of my favorite places in Rome. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is so kind every time we visit. A special thank-you to Reno for being so thoughtful and for recommending amazing wines. I always look forward to coming back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
