Taverna a Mare In Carovigno

We were delighted with this discovery, we happened to be in these parts by chance on a winter afternoon... and we booked in this wonderful and welcoming tavern for super well-finished appetizers, excellent first course paccheri with grouper, pappardelle with top mushrooms! Super desserts Their homemade panettone is a soft and very pleasant delight! I recommend and hope to return!

Nice place. Good pasta and meat and great dessert with baba and rum. The staff was very nice and professional. Prices are ok.

Excellent fish dinner and compliments for the linguine with scampi and leek, exceptional dish, we also had mixed fried fish, grilled fish, all good and of good quality, impeccable service, honest bill

Pizza was ok but partially burnt on the bottom. Reasonable prices. The service staff prefers to deal with the telefonino instead of with the guests...

The fish is of excellent quality even outside the tourist season, the staff are kind and professional. We tasted the dishes from appetizer to dessert and everything was good and very filling. Good value for money

Ho talmente tante sensazioni belle da condividere che non so da dove cominciare :-) sicuramente l'accoglienza è stata fantastica, avevamo chiamato poco prima direttamente dalla spiaggia distante pochi metri e la proprietaria ci ha fatto trovare il tavolo nella sala interna climatizzata con già l'acqua fresca per dissetarci (fuori si moriva dal caldo mentre dentro si stava da dio). Molto gentilmente il cameriere ci ha chiesto se volevamo qualcosa da bere come aperitivo e dopo di che siamo partiti con gli antipasti...dopo non molti minuti sono iniziate ad arrivare delle prelibatezze di pesce da leccarsi i baffi, vi consiglio le cozze cacio e pepe, qualcosa che vi farà esplodere le papille gustative :-) poi abbiamo preso alcuni primi sempre di pesce uno meglio dell'altro. Anche il vino rosato si abbinava perfettamente alle portate, semplicemente delizioso. Per dessert io ho preso un sorbetto all'anguria freschissimo, dolce al punto giusto. Non so se dirvi se è stata migliore la cucina o il servizio perchè in realtà sono stati entrambi a livello top. La cosa più bella è stata tornare a casa con quella sensazione di benessere e serenità che questo posto stupendo, grazie alla professionalità del personale, ci ha saputo regolare. Veramente una giornata da ricordare. P.S. Il tovagliolo non l'ho toccato, era troppo bello per essere sporcato :-) Gianni & Fede
