During my visit, I had the pleasure of savoring the Coniglio dei Prati di Tivo, a beautifully tender rabbit dish with fresh herbs that take you straight to the heart of the Abruzzo countryside. The Falsomagro di Vitello Stracotto was another standout — a slow-cooked veal roulade that’s perfectly balanced with a rich, flavorful sauce, offering a true taste of tradition. The Pallotte di Ricotta di Pecora — sheep ricotta meatballs — were heavenly, delicate, and full of flavor, making them a must-try for anyone fond of authentic regional dishes.
In addition to these delights, the Tartare Beef prepared at the table is another exceptional dish that showcases the restaurant's attention to detail and fresh ingredients. The Sublime Frittatina, an omelette made with fresh garden herbs and goat cheese, was another highlight that I highly recommend.
What really sets Taverna 58 apart, however, is not just the food, but the outstanding service. The staff is exceptionally professional and polite, making each visit feel like a special occasion. Even my furry friend, Pippin, was treated like royalty, being offered a bowl of refreshing spring water from the Maiella, which added a personal touch that truly elevated the experience.

I am reviewing after my second visit. I tasted both the daily special and the choice from the menu; on both occasions I appreciated an excellent choice of products and good preparation of the dishes. In the era of clownish cutting boards that you see around I say to you: go and try "la fellata" and then you will tell me. And if you like to play you will order with a smile the "maccaroni alla borbonica" only to then be amazed and immediately try to remake them at home. Small but not confusing environment (at lunchtime there are usually calm employees on their lunch break, in the evening a couple of children would be enough to "liven up" the evening). Bathroom in order. Attentive, fast and friendly service. And to finish and define the comment I say that the quality/price ratio is good, especially in relation to the general price increase that you see around; my 5 stars therefore derive from the perfect fit between what you expect from this type of place and what you actually find.

Honestly, not worth it. Service and atmosphere was great, but food (which is the most important part) was very bad. I'd expect much more from a so called "michelan restaurant".

A very enjoyable dinner, great food and both welcoming and professional staff. Particularly interesting notes: Tartare prepared at the table with the traditional French method, excellent work and excellent result! In addition to this, also the flambéed crepes prepared at the table, traditional method and very good flavor. The cheeses, the pan-fried Majella sheep and the taverna 58 cake are also excellent!

Struttura molto accogliente e ben tenuta, personale al servizio molto preparato e professionale.
Cucina impeccabile, arrosticini davvero buoni, pasta con funghi e tartufo buona (avrei preferito una grattata in più di tartufo), ma sicuramente il piatto che abbiamo preferito è stata la pecora in umido, davvero superba, cottura della carne perfetta sapidità e gusto deliziosi, la scarpetta qui è d'obbligo.
Rapporto qualità prezzo super consigliato.

Siamo stati in questa Osteria di Pescara dove era tutto curato nei minimi dettagli, camerieri molto preparati e educati, cibo espresso di ottima qualità, dall’antipasto al dolce tutto davvero squisito . I prezzi veramente modici . Complimenti a tutto lo staff! Ritorneremo sicuramente. 🔝 🔝
