Good service, beautiful place and food was good.
The Slow cooked veal was too much fat for me,other than that, everything was good.

After visiting D'Annunzio's birthplace, inspired by the reasonably priced dishes, we tried the €18 daily menu, which didn't disappoint. They were professional in welcoming us, even with our dog. We highly recommend it; we hadn't booked but were there when they opened for lunch. The price obviously increases if you include dessert.

If we could, we would extend our stay in Pescara just to eat at this restaurant again. Excellent local food, hearty and comforting. We strongly recommend the arrosticini and the slow cooked mutton casserole and wild boar stew. The setting is in a grotto with exposed roman arches and the restaurant boasts numerous mentions in the Michelin guide. Book in advance, as there is a limited number of tables and it’s only open for two hours per evening.

Excellent menu and impeccable communication with the kitchen (zero waits between courses). It would be helpful to have an extra person who isn't just a waiter but can also guide customers by advising them on what to order.

Sono anni che come posso mi reco in questo ristorante nella Pescara vecchia .
Cucina eccellente per riscoprire sapori autentici dell 'Abruzzo, servizio impeccabile, gentilezza e cordialità, disponibilità su tutte le richieste. Grazie a Gabriele e Francesco e tutto lo staff.

Personale cortese, cibo nella media, non ci tornerei.
Ho mangiato arrosticini e formaggio, ottimo il formaggio ma gli arrosticini erano scadenti, ne ho mangiati di migliori in giro per l’Abruzzo (taglio piccolo inoltre). A seguire uno stracotto di pecora (o spezzatino) un po’ duretto. Poi un dolce, torta tipica abruzzese, che eviterei se potessi tornare indietro. Prezzo nella media
