We went to eat because we had to go to the airport and since we had time we went to this area, the food was very good, the service was correct and the price was correct.

We ordered a trio of crostini, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, pizza. Pizza is the only valid thing, flavorless crostini, cacio e pepe, very far from Italian tradition, all excellent but only for tourists.

I had the pasta pepe, and it was delicious. I ordered a side of garlic focaccia and it was a perfect pair. I was staying in Rome for 1 night before my flight the next day. I walked this lovely stretch of road along the canal with many restaurants.

La Pasticceria Il Pescatore (Torre Angela)

24/08/2024: many excellent things and many to improve. there is the saying that the value for money is excellent. but they have such a full counter that I don't think it's all the fresh stuff of the day. in fact, every now and then I bite into the pastry of tarts or the flaky pastry of lobster tails. it must be said that the buffalo mozzarella is always sensational, with a very soft mixture and, being the workhorse, it will have a continuous turnover. this thing needs to be reviewed because one cannot go by to pick up some pastries and spend the evening anxious about having brought some inedible pastries.
27/07/2024: I often buy desserts from this pastry shop and it is always very good with excellent quality products
