We went to eat because we had to go to the airport and since we had time we went to this area, the food was very good, the service was correct and the price was correct.

We ordered a trio of crostini, tonnarelli cacio e pepe, pizza. Pizza is the only valid thing, flavorless crostini, cacio e pepe, very far from Italian tradition, all excellent but only for tourists.

I had the pasta pepe, and it was delicious. I ordered a side of garlic focaccia and it was a perfect pair. I was staying in Rome for 1 night before my flight the next day. I walked this lovely stretch of road along the canal with many restaurants.

SAKAI Sushi Ristorante

22/11/2024: I go there often.. the food is good, without a doubt. Two pieces of advice: revamp the menu a bit and add something more vegetarian.
20/11/2024: Sakai sushi.. well an excellent sushi restaurant. For now the best in Monterotondo. The quality of the sushi is excellent and so is the service. The only thing is that it's a bit difficult to park in the areas surrounding the restaurant. It is also one of the few that has not raised the price for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend.

01/07/2024: Kindness, professionalism, good dishes, good wine! Very pleasant environment. A neighborhood bar where "being" is a pleasant experience, especially on Sunday morning. Lots of social activities that are always very interesting. The choice of wines is very careful and of excellent quality.
25/06/2024: A different bar, but at the same time with a strong identity. The environment is nice, the layout is nice and there are some particular practical ideas that differentiate it from other places of the same type. Approved
