Tarrock In

A restaurant located on the Salerno coast (the road that runs along the sea from Salerno to Battipaglia). The restaurant is family-run and offers excellent seafood dishes. The location could be improved, but considering the overall context of the area, it's more than good. The quality/price ratio is excellent.

Excellent restaurant, delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, excellent and fast service. It's a shame about the cover charge, because both the tablecloths and napkins are paper. Otherwise, it could have been a top restaurant. Anyway, if you're in the area, I recommend it. The food is good and the price is right.

I was there today, August 15th, the food was decent. There was an endless wait; we waited 45 minutes just to take our order, the same amount of time for each course, absurd. Some tables that arrived after us were served first. There was a lack of staff to supervise the dining room. Terrible value for money. We had scialatielli (overcooked, to boot), and the seafood basically had three mussels and lots of empty clam shells. I've never seen anything like it. Terrible service. I don't recommend it. And I forgot, no receipt for almost everyone.

Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, inside it's a clean and well-kept restaurant. The food, including fish, is excellent.

Truly excellent food, incredibly fresh fish, prompt, fast, courteous, and attentive service... incredibly professional, like I haven't seen in a long time, and the desserts were delicious too! I was satisfied with everything: food, service, and prices. It's a shame I'm not a local, I would have gone back at least once a week!! But when I return to Magazzeno, I definitely won't be able to miss out on eating here! Everything was perfect!!

Reasonable prices and incredible quality, everything delicious. Fish as they do in the South, from seafood to shellfish to actual fish. I'm from Salento, and I also love Japanese cuisine, so I know fish, let's say "a little." I left feeling full, satisfied, and with the feeling of having paid very little. Highly recommended, I'll be back. I'm attaching a photo, not of a single dish, but of what's left... 🤣🤣🤣

The "Tarrok" restaurant is located on the Magazzeno seafront in the province of Salerno. You can park for free on the seafront. I dined there, alone, two nights in a row in June. It has only a partial sea view as it is located across the road. Between the internal and external tables, it can be said that the size of the restaurant is medium-small. I found it by chance, staying a few days in the area and looking for a place to eat fish (I always eat at a restaurant on vacation and always fish). Nice place, tablecloths and napkins of similar fabric. It has a menu mainly of fish with some meat as well. The bread for the table service is mediocre (a little dry). I had a mixed green salad, some excellent scialatielli allo scoglio, a mixed grill of fish cooked just right in the various components (it is not a given), a pistachio ice cream, then paccheri with shrimp and walnuts, grilled sea bass, chocolate truffle. The dishes are well presented, in the right quantity, excellent quality and taste. Sparkling water and a glass of prosecco. Polite and fast staff. Considering the place in general, the prices are below average. I always determine the average price on the individual dishes and not on the total bill, as many do, often influenced by the hunger of the moment, therefore by the number of dishes and diners sharing them. The location also influences the evaluation. In conclusion, absolutely recommended if you are in the area.

Il pesce in questo locale è fresco e sapientemente cucinato, quando sono in zona è l'unico ristorante che mi soddisfa. Su richiesta cucinano aragoste molto buone.

Ristorante stile primi anni ‘80. Semplice e sobrio. Personale cortese. Proposta gastronomica ottima con banco pesce freschissimo ( almeno il giorno della mia visita). Prezzi nella media. Da potenziare la carta vini. Valore aggiunto il proprietario Nicola, pescatore , che riesce a valorizzare ogni piatto con la freschezza del pescato. Lo consiglio. Esperienza positiva
