Bastian Contrario is a truly pleasant taproom: all the beers are brewed in-house, and you can taste the attention to quality, with diverse styles and always well-crafted. The food is also interesting, classic pub fare but with carefully prepared dishes and generous portions. Before the Ferragosto holiday, they organized a "keg emptying" event with significant discounts on all beers, a fun initiative that made the atmosphere even more convivial. A welcoming place, helpful staff, and excellent value: definitely a place to return often.

The beer was okay, but unfortunately we had to run because the number of mosquitoes around the tables and flowerpots was so impressive that we had to go elsewhere. Too bad.

The place is nice and modern. During the week it's incredibly quiet. It's best not to go when there are concerts, at least for me, because in my opinion the staff is inadequate, given the number of customers possible, and even with very few, a line forms. I think some of the staff should take a training course. But that's how it is in many places these days.

I went with some friends because a friend was performing. The place was nice, but since it was after dinner, I only had a cocktail, which wasn't the best. The others had beers and seemed satisfied.
