I was twice in this restaurant during the last week. The food is very good, I highly can recommend a Gazpacho! And the service is extraordinary! The young woman working there is very sweet and friendly and attentive and the young Italian man (I think his name is Marco) is of outstanding politeness and very very kind. The food is great, but the wonderful staff is for me the first and foremost reason for coming back again!

Stopped in by chance not long before closing. Wonderful friendly staff served us after the kitchen closed; amazing jambon pata negra, great wine. Nice location, spacious, lovely breeze on a warm evening. Looking forward to going back.

The food was so delicious. Didn't expect to have such an amazing spanish food in Trieste. Vegetarian paella was the best!

Harry's Grill

05/01/2025: In the square: queue to enter the restaurant in front, a scene for tourists because I've already tried it before, so I choose Harry's, no queue, relaxed environment without crowds with less "cacciarona" customers, had a chocolate with cream and a Viennese coffee , service up to par, spent €10, other times had an aperitif, I confirm my preference for Harry's over red herrings, personal opinion obviously!
22/12/2024: Love this place. There is enough of attentive staff who also speak other languages. Impressive! The food and drinks were amazing, just love the attention to details and the high quality. We enjoyed the cocktails (signature cocktail Trieste da bere with gin and sambuca), salad and anchovies for a starter and fish and octopus for mains. Every dish was spectacular. What I particularly enjoyed is that they have Gluten free options for bread and pasta. Highly appreciated!!! The deserts were good, I just inhaled mine - a chocolate and coffee tartlet. The sorbet was nice, but a bit on the sweet side. Would happily return to this restaurant any time!

19/09/2024: I certainly passed by it, I was actually in Trieste 2 weeks ago, and it was a beautiful day. Towards the evening the bad weather came in and the wind picked up...!!! It was raining in Gorizia!! The clear sky was waiting for me at home!!
06/08/2024: The STSM Sailing and Fishing Society is located near the lantern and behind the Pedocin. The Company, in addition to being a point of reference for boaters, organizes summer camps for children lasting 2 weeks which can be repeated and fishing courses organized by the appropriate section. The staff is always available and they are all approachable and very kind. Not to forget the excellent restaurant which offers high quality dishes at competitive prices.
