A true Roman-style restaurant with traditional food, generous but not overwhelming portions, and fair prices. Every time I go, often, it's always a confirmation because no matter what first or second course you order, you're never disappointed. In fact, you'll want to return for more! Highly recommended.

We went for lunch. The food wasn't bad, but I expected slightly larger portions. The service was quite chaotic: we ordered three starters, and they brought one first, and then the other two quite a while later, when our friend was almost finished. We asked a waitress for a spoon, but she said "yes," rather annoyed, and never brought it. We asked for desserts, and even then it was quite a hassle, with a wait of over 10 minutes just to take our order.
In short: it's a basic osteria for those with modest expectations; I'm not sure I'd recommend it.

A typical Roman trattoria in the heart of Garbatella. Tables are on the sidewalk, under a gazebo, or inside, but nothing particularly inviting. The cuisine and recipes are traditional, but the service is soulless. The appetizers and first courses were decent, but the roulade with tomato sauce was forgettable. I won't be returning.

It's like eating at home...very good and with a homey atmosphere, typical but not pretentious. The food is excellent, as is the value. Highly recommended for an authentic Roman cuisine experience without the pretentious—and needlessly expensive—frills of other more central and touristy places!

Roman cuisine, offal, and a typical Garbatella atmosphere. Oxtail stew, tripe, saltimbocca, and other dishes... fantastic. Be careful with the generous portions! The waiter is fast, friendly, and courteous!

Mi dispiace, ma non è più quello di una volta. Tutto un pò pesante. I prezzi secondo me un fifilino alti. Un fritto di verdure, una fornara, una bottiglia di Bellone, acqua. €44. Comunque pieno che dire sarò io!
