This isn't my first time at Tanpì, and as always, the place, food, and service are top-notch.
The food is good, the drinks are good, and the staff is friendly and never overbearing.
Highly recommended. The best place in the lower valley for excellent quality and fair price.

Before climbing up to the upper Ayas Valley and immersing yourself forever in polenta concia, carbonade, soup, and crespelle, it's definitely worth stopping at Tanpí in Verrès to try some unusual dishes and ideas. The fried egg with sweetbreads and parmesan cream was orgasmic, with a stellar presentation and flavor. The atmosphere is refined yet youthful and casual, and the staff is attentive and friendly. We're lucky to have moved to live just minutes away from this little place, and it'll become our go-to spot to escape the monotony. For the sake of flavor and polenta concia. Bravo, bravo, bravo!

Wonderful delicious beautifully presented food with attentive skilled waitstaff. We had 2 courses each, and 2 wines. Very reasonable prices for the quality. Peaceful place conducive to table conversation

A welcoming restaurant with an intimate atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent dinner; we were satisfied with all the dishes we ordered, especially the whole wheat tagliatelle with white ragù and Bleu d'Aosta cheese. The menu strikes a happy balance between traditional dishes and modern, revisited flavors, without being too forced. The price is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the dinner.

We returned to this restaurant, where three of us had dinner in one of the rooms. The place is tidy, and the staff is young and very friendly. We had the fried mushroom appetizer (I wouldn't have used rosemary in the breading because it overpowered the flavor a bit), the offal appetizer, and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms for a first course. For dessert, we had a tartlet with cream and caramelized apple, and the caramelized pineapple with its sorbet. Everything was good; the portions aren't large, but they were absolutely adequate.
There was also the option of grilled meat and fish because the grill was lit. I like it for the quiet atmosphere, the refined food, the friendly staff, and the good value.

We had a marvellous outdoor meal in this restaurant a Sunday evening in mid August of 2025. They have an unusual menu, exceptionally featuring inner organs like kidney and duck liver. I had one of the best fried duck livers of my life and that says a lot. The choice of wines is excellent and we discovered a local Pinot Noir worth dying for. Service is discrete and courteous. Highly recommended!
