The outdoor seating is very welcoming, the service could be improved (we were served by a young woman who was rather inexperienced and not particularly cheerful), and the dishes were good but not up to the price.

The restaurant's decor is modern and chic, with paintings hanging on the walls accompanied by QR codes explaining the artwork, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. The scallops were cooked to perfection! "An exceptional dining experience. The attention to detail in each dish was impressive. The staff, especially Brenda, went out of her way to make our stay and dining experience enjoyable, even recommending the perfect wine to complement our dishes. They were attentive without being intrusive. Pleasant and well-kept outdoor area in a serene setting.

Very nice place at the entrance to the road that leads to Val d'Ayas. Beautiful garden. Very courteous, kind and professional staff. Cuisine with highs and lows: the dishes tasted were good with the exception of a cacio e pepe pasta that was completely wrong (the cheese was stringy) and the white ragu sauce despite the not very tasty bleu d'Aosta. Portions let's say from a Milanese restaurant (no, it's not a compliment). Prices perhaps a little high. All in all I would go back

I went to Tanpì in Verres for an aperitif. The place is nice, with a modern but welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home right away. The cocktails? Spectacular! The staff is very kind and super knowledgeable, they really recommend what's right for you. Relaxed but elegant atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Top for a classy aperitif in Valle d'Aosta, but also for an after dinner.

Menu vario, equilibrato, sfizioso Servizio empatico e competente Cucina eccellente Cantina più che interessante Un'esperienza da ripetere sovente e da consigliare agli amici. Locale accogliente e ben attrezzato anche per la stagione estiva. A 2 passi dal centro di Verrès e dalla collegiata di Saint Gilles. A pochi metri dal casello autostradale. L'approccio appassionato e competente della proprietà è rassicurante, apprezzabile ed evidente.

Le Barmé De L'Ours

17/08/2025: Fantastic experience! We were staying at the campsite just up the road, and after days of mediocre meals, we decided to treat ourselves to a proper dinner.... How lucky we were to have you so close! The place is a gem, a very intimate and welcoming atmosphere, soft lighting, and just a few tables. Andrea, the owner, immediately proved to be a character, obviously an idol. The wine list is physical, meaning the bottles are on a cabinet, and Andrea helps you choose based on the dishes you ordered. The dishes we tried were all delicious, beautiful to look at and excellent on the palate. Thanks Andrea also for letting us try the absinthe; it was an experience that made us end the dinner with a bang. ❤️
13/08/2025: We'd been wanting to try this place for a while, and some friends and I booked a table ahead of time. The welcome was excellent, and the place is charming and welcoming. We didn't wait long, and the staff was very kind and professional. The dishes were tasty, although when asked if everything was okay, we clarified a certain quality of the day's dish: keeping in mind that the cooking was perfect, to our personal taste, the flavor was overpowered and altered by a sauce added on top. The chef was very kind and explained the reason for that choice at the table. The only negative was the drinks order: a third bottle of water was requested three times before arriving at the table, and a fourth four times, but, alas, it never arrived. We found it included when we got the bill, and, realizing the mistake only later, we couldn't point it out. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it, although there's still room for improvement, especially considering the final bill, which is significant.
