We came a few days ago and were served by Mara, a very kind girl who gave us such good advice that we came back that evening and she was there again! We trusted her and she gave us good advice again, we'll be back soon! Everything was delicious!!!

Truly delicious dishes, the sauce has a very homemade flavor and the bread used for the cuzzetiello is fresh and just the right amount of crunchy.

Probably the best authentic ragù in the city. It's not made with ground beef, as many people think, but with a slow-cooked tomato sauce mixed with various cuts of meat. The staff is exceptional, but the place is rather simple and not particularly attractive.

Loved the bruschetta, and the delicious gnocchi with ragu! Always a waiter nearby. We'll be back!

We went here without a reservation and had a 15-minute wait for a table, so we ordered a cuzzitiello. The lady who served us was very kind and even gave us some advice on what to order.

Tandem is a must-try if you're visiting Naples. Cuzzetiello is the icon of Neapolitan street food, of which Tandem is the pinnacle. At the Piazza del Gesù location, you can sit on multiple levels, and reservations are available. I highly recommend: - Cuzzetiello: I had it with parmigiana, meatballs, and scamorza. It's one of the top three dishes to eat in Naples. It's quite strong, so you might not finish it on your own if you have a weak stomach 😆 - Genovese: a super-classic Neapolitan pasta, with meat and onions overcooked until they become super soft. I had it with Neapolitan fusilli, which are usually eaten with ziti or rigatoni. The "scarpetta" (bread to dip in the sauce) option is interesting. Reservations are recommended; it's a very popular place.

The Cuzzetiello filling with meatballs and ragù was good, but I didn't like the bread very much, it was a bit rubbery, I would have preferred it crunchy.

Pizza & Buoi

02/06/2026: Decent pizza, prices are high almost everywhere these days; a Margherita pizza is €7, a more specialty pizza is over €10. Half a liter of water is €3.
29/05/2026: Everything was great, the meat and the pizzas were perfect. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Toni was very friendly and provided excellent service, as did Carlota. I highly recommend it. Thank you.

02/06/2026: A pleasant place on Via Posillipo. Very simple, discreet, and clean. Friendly and professional staff, along with Jamir's. Very good pizza. Excellent Italian fried food. Excellent value.
09/05/2026: Very nice place and very friendly staff. I recommend booking because it's small. The wait was long. We got our first dish after 55 minutes, after asking for it. The prices were absolutely reasonable, although I found one dish off the menu to be extremely expensive. I recommend always asking the price before ordering. On the other hand, the other dishes were less expensive than the average at many other trattorias. 3 stars for the Genovese. I found it a bit bland and not very flavorful, but the portion wasn't at all skimpy. 3 stars for the pasta dish and 3 stars for the calamarata with squid (but the squid only made an appearance, like a special appearance by a famous actor). On the other hand, the spaghetti with octopus Luciana-style deserves 5 stars. The quantity of octopus was over XXL, the spaghetti was cooked magnificently, and the black olives were delicious. In short, the first courses were good, but the prices were exorbitant. The wine was excellent (we ordered individual glasses because bottles cost from €28 and up). Prices were below average. If we paid a little more, it was because of the off-menu items. A positive aspect is that parking is easy to find. Next time, I'll try the pizza, which looked really inviting...
