Tamburino Sardo In Sommacampagna

12/03/2025: I went to this restaurant with some friends for lunch. The restaurant is very nice, medium in size, well furnished and tidy. Everything we ate, from the starter to the main courses, was delicious. The quality/price is excellent. You eat well and you spend the right amount in my opinion. The only sore point for which I gave it four stars is that at the end of lunch, on my way out, I took two bags of sugar in good faith and a cook saw me and called me back in a tone that I didn't really like.

09/03/2025: We were attracted by the beautiful location, which in fact deserves it: the environment is well-kept, welcoming and with a pleasant atmosphere that gives rise to hope. Unfortunately, however, the culinary experience did not live up to expectations. The quality of the food, especially the meat, disappointed us. The tartare and crusted salmon were all in all decent, but nothing memorable. The real sore point, however, was the rib: I had specifically asked for it to be larger in size, but unfortunately the request was not granted. I found myself with a steak just one centimeter thick, something that had never happened to me before and which, inevitably, compromised the consistency and juiciness of the cut. A plus point goes to the homemade pasta, which turned out to be good and well prepared. In summary, the Trattoria Corte Rossa has a very beautiful location and a cuisine which, with a little more attention, could offer a much better experience (I haven't tasted typical dishes, perhaps I could change my mind).
