I returned after several years and found it a little more neglected, though I remembered it a little better. Perfect for spending a couple of hours.

Probably doesn't deserve 5 stars for maintenance, but the place is so labyrinthine that it would take an army of full-time gardeners to keep it clean. So what about the €7 entry fee for a place that's in pretty bad shape?

Magical. A must-see for everyone. A combined ticket with a visit to the Steri Palace is recommended for a bucolic and historical journey.

Beautiful Botanical Garden - truly beautiful and ancient. Wonderful ficuses :)

Beautiful place, amazing biggest ficus tree, lots of plants to see, also green parrots, nice for a walk. Definitely worth to visit. Good café with some refreshments, coffee or ice cream

Amazing experience, super beautiful garden, very happy to have gone there. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to recharge their batteries and see beautiful things, as well as to those who love nature to visit.

One of the most beautiful botanical parks I have ever visited

Beautiful and quiet botanical garden close to Palermo Central station. We spent a lovely few hours admiring the beautiful trees and flowers. The cafe is very nice - the staff being quite lovely. Do take mosquito repellant though. We both got bitten fairly early on but lucky had brought some with us.

The ticket for the botanical garden is 12 euros, which includes access to the Palazzo Steri, which is no less important and unmissable (located about a kilometer away, with a guided tour). In the garden, there's a building that houses stuffed birds, plant seeds, tree trunk sections, and cotton varieties. A magical place of 7,000 square meters, where you can lose yourself in the shade of trees you've never seen before. It would be nice to see staff tending the paths and making sure no one gets sick and disappears into the vegetation, and more arrows to mark the path, but I imagine they need funding.
