Talea In Palermo

In Palermo, a small piece of paradise shaded in the summer heat, almost overlooking the sea, full of tropical and native plants and trees, very rich and varied in cacti, citrus fruits, palm groves, bamboo, etc.. Tropical trees of considerable size, even a couple of lakes with aquatic plants among which the lotus and the papyrus stand out... Some aquatic turtles as well. Inhabited by many birds of various species, which cheer up the hearing with their shouting... The museum part is a little dated, but the live plants speak for themselves. It's worth spending a day inside, 7 euros for the ticket well spent. Not to be missed for nature lovers.

Lovely place to find an incredible variety of plants. The path is clear and well structured. The garden is very well kept (contrary to the people who wrote that there are leaves along the path... the foliage is there and it must be there otherwise what a botanical garden it is, but in any case the streets were clean of everything else). The bar is also nice, well positioned and furnished in a simple way but which fits well into the surroundings.

A little more care and cleaning wouldn't hurt

Very nice place very well maintained compared to the city of Palermo. Many species of plants including extraordinary and impressive ficus. A huge 10 ha park. Thematic places. Greenhouses. And a neoclassical reception building from the end of the 18th century. Definitely worth the visit, especially when looking for shade

One of my favorite places where you can take a walk surrounded by greenery. There are huge varieties of plants to admire. Also recommended is the bar inside where you can have something to drink and relax at one of the tables. I really appreciate the various events that are organized from time to time and in which it is possible to participate to always discover something new.
