The best Indian restaurant in Milan, absolutely delicious

My friend and I were walking around Sempione when we stumbled upon this cozy Indian restaurant :-) the smell alone pulled us in! From the moment we sat down, the service was amazing. The waiter (who I think is part of the family that owns it) was super friendly and attentive. I am celiac, so I asked if they could accommodate a gluten-free appetiser and he was so kind about it. He even brought out some freshly made papadums instead of the regular crackers, and honestly, they were some of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly crisp and flavourful!! We ordered a chicken coconut curry and butter chicken with rice, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. I’d describe it as rich, authentic, and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. As we were paying, the owner mentioned they had a lunch promotion from Tuesday to Friday where you don’t pay extra for service or even water, which made it such great value for Milan, especially in the Sempione area. It’s a small, family run spot and you can tell they really care about their food and customers. Definitely one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in Milan! Affordable, kind service, and incredible flavors. Edit: Apologies to the owner where I said I would post a review- only I just found out it wasn’t successful in it being posted.

A wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back. The food was delicious (especially the delicious curry) and excellent value. The atmosphere was very refined and elegant (and honestly, prettier in person than in the photos). Overall, a pleasant discovery.

I only have a photo of the appetizer because we were too quick! Everything was delicious and the service was delightful. Also perfect for those with gluten intolerances.

We came here after a recommendation from a friend who lived in Milan until a few years ago... I have to say it was all amazing... we bought so many things and everything far exceeded our expectations!!!! We even suggested opening in Pescara too 😅😅😅... Top marks... shame about the 600km distance
