I was in this restaurant one evening for dinner with my girlfriend, we opted for the all you can eat formula. Menu with a wide range of choices, food for all tastes: different types of meat and also vegetarian dishes.
The quality seemed good to me and the flavor was certainly excellent, the staff were really kind and helpful.
For an all you can eat on a Friday evening, including water, cover charge and a final dessert we spent €30 each, I'd say it's honest.
The only flaw is that the chairs are not very comfortable, but it is quite irrelevant, overall more than satisfied

I come every Monday to dine in this restaurant excellent Indian cuisine with many options for vegetarians and not the owner himself seats you at the available seat with his own food menu in hand always a new experience and atmosphere anyone who goes every week or monthly will find the experience as before, neither down nor up nor right left exactly as found before. I would like anyone who hasn't tried it to try it once, I assure you they have never eaten such good Indian cuisine in Bologna, it's the best of all.

The Taj Mahal has become a hangout for me and my boyfriend.
The staff welcomes customers with courtesy and kindness, availability and apprehension.
The environment is calm and familiar, with non-annoying background music.
The food is spatial, an explosion of flavors that vary based on what you order; it is halal so there are no pork-based dishes and there are many meat-free dishes, typical of Indian cuisine. You can order à la carte or in the "all you can eat" option.
I have always found the toilets clean and stocked.
The drinks are a little expensive.
The chairs are a little too high and the shape of the plates as well as the cutlery is a little awkward.
I would go back every day.

Nice place, Good service. Family run. The menu offers different types of food and the food is freshly prepared. Good for vegetarians as there are many veggie options. The grilled meat platter could me ore diverse and the meat was dry a bit. Just a little suggestion.

my favorite indian restaurant in Bologna! the service is so attentive and nice, the food is incredible! the price is so worth it because the quality of the food is very high - the Lasi is amazing I recommend it.

Sono stato tante volte al Taj Mahal di Via San Felice a Bologna e non vedo l'ora di tornarci. La loro cucina indiana è fantastica, il personale è gentile e attento. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ALTISSIMO. Se volete mangiare indiano ottimamente e passare una bella serata, andateci. Super consigliato.
