On Sunday, I had lunch at the Taj Mahal Indian restaurant on Via San Felice in Bologna. I often return with my family, and we enjoy going there whenever we want to enjoy traditional Indian cuisine, perfectly spiced and well-balanced.
Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner with family or friends.

Excellent restaurant!
A superb address that I recommend without hesitation!
I've tried several Indian and Pakistani restaurants, but this one really stands out.
The dishes are delicious, the sauces full of flavor, and the meat extremely tender.
The menu is clear and the prices are very reasonable.
The service is impeccable: the servers are friendly and very helpful.
The restaurant is clean, spacious, and well-located.

We went to the Taj Mahal restaurant for dinner for two.
The place is large and welcoming, as are the people who work there. We had a samosa, vegetables in chickpea flour batter (very good), and a Taj Mahal main course that included a lentil dahl, butter chicken, another spicy chicken, lamb in sauce, and byriani with vegetables, plus chapati bread. Everything was very good, but perhaps all the dishes could have been a little more generous for the price, although to be fair, if you want to gorge, you can do the all-you-can-eat option for a very reasonable €21.90-23.90.
Worth a try because the cuisine is authentic and very good!

A very traditional and varied Indian restaurant. It offers different options throughout the week, both à la carte and all-you-can-eat. The atmosphere is quaint and the staff are very friendly. I've brought many out-of-town guests here, and everyone has always loved it.

I've been going there for years, and it's always maintained its value for money.
For me, it's the best Indian restaurant in Bologna! The all-you-can-eat menu is excellent, and their garlic bread is extraordinary!
