Visited Taj Bistro about a year back and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The food remains top-notch, and the host still welcomes guests with a warm, infectious smile. The place is one of the few places in the city where you can enjoy authentic Indian cuisine—definitely try the different naans, they're unmatched. This time, we had the non-veg Thali, naan with palak paneer and chicken biryani. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying. Good to be here again !!

We stumbled upon this place during a road trip, drawn in by the photos and menu—and it did not disappoint. The service was warm and prompt and the food was both plentiful and delicious. If I find myself in the area again, I’d definitely stop by for another visit. NOTE :- Recommendation for vegetarians.

Dropped by Taj Bistro today and had a great experience. I ordered the Spicy Pav Bhaji and the Chicken Tikka Roll—both were incredibly tasty. The pav bhaji was rich, buttery, and full of bold, well-balanced spices, served with perfectly toasted pav that really hit the spot. Counter service was decent—nothing exceptional but reasonably quick. Everything was packed neatly and arrived fresh. Overall, very satisfied with today’s takeout!

I popped into Taj Bistro around noon for the advertised lunch buffet, but the place was totally empty—and when I asked, they told me the buffet was out for the day. I ended up ordering off the regular menu, but it felt odd walking in expecting a spread and finding nothing set up. The server was apologetic and offered a discounted a-la-carte option, which was kind, but it still felt like a letdown. The dishes I finally tried were decent, but the whole experience left me wishing I’d called ahead. Wouldn’t recommend relying on the lunch buffet here unless you’ve double-checked it’s actually running.

Delicious weeknight dinner with the family. We usually head to Daal Roti, but decided to give this place a try—and we’re so glad we did. 🤩🤩🤩🤩 The chicken soup had a rich, gingery broth and the lentil soup had a nice curry kick—hard to pick a favorite. We also enjoyed samosas, chicken lollipops, palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, coconut curry mahi, naan, mango lassi and rice pudding. Friendly, attentive service. We’ll definitely be back for sure.

Fantastic place for Indian cuisine in Downtown. The pricing is reasonable and the dishes are packed with flavor—nicely spiced to suit most tastes, though I’d have liked a bit more heat in the lamb vindaloo. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely kind and attentive. A great new addition to the city’s food scene—looking forward to more visits.
