While giving it a positive review, I can't help but say that €45 per person for: 1 portion of standard cold cuts shared between 4 people + a main course each (no wine, just water, no dessert) and just 1 coffee, is beyond my wildest dreams. OK, we're in Milan, OK, the atmosphere is unique, but it's going too far.

A place dear to my heart, always pleasant.
It's been a while since I've been back, and I had a great time. Lunch with colleagues, a wide selection, and friendly and very well-trained waiters. I can't wait to return.

The location is objectively very nice. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't live up to expectations, nor did the prices (which are on par with Garghet, so to speak). We didn't order main courses, so I can't comment on that, but the first courses weren't up to par; they were flavorless and questionable.
A side note: my first course already had parmesan sprinkled on top (not listed on the menu), so much so that I jokingly assumed it was a "return" from another customer (just kidding).
Another thing: the service also didn't live up to expectations: simply put, women should be served first, not always men first! 😀
Honestly, not terribly bad, but I wouldn't go back.

Excellent traditional Milanese cuisine
A very charming restaurant with friendly staff. There are several dining rooms, each with a different style but all very beautiful and well-kept. We dined in the red room, with a lovely fireplace that creates a cozy atmosphere. We had an appetizer of cured meats and gnocco fritto, delicious cured meats! We continued with risotto alla Milanese and cassoeula. The cassoeula was truly delicious; if you like it, it's highly recommended. It's tasty and flavorful, with verzini, spare ribs, and some pork rind.
I recommend this place. The food is good and the atmosphere is just right. I'd go back.

Great place, very welcoming; the owners are very friendly and welcoming, the staff is kind and professional, the food is fabulous, the dishes are exceptional and delicious, everything is delicious, definitely worth a try. 👍😋😉

It used to be a special place, but after the new owners arrived, it became a mediocre restaurant.
Previously, the precision and speed of service—especially at midday—were a strong point, along with a carefully curated and truly delicious menu.
Today, slowness reigns supreme, the service is sloppy, and the food doesn't always live up to the bill.

A truly hidden gem in Milan. This restaurant has a real family and local feel, with a staff that truly cares and made the experience so much better.
The risotto con ossobucco was simply phenomenal, such incredible flavors in the risotto and the ossobucco was fall off the bone tender. The cacio e pepe was terrific as well, you can tell the pasta was homemade. For dessert, the affogato was a great way to end the evening.
Highly recommend to anyone visiting Milan!
