It's good but very expensive. In practice, with the price of a glass + aperitif you can easily have dinner in any pizzeria. One of the waitresses (blonde) is rude, the other very kind. They don't clean the alley from pigeon droppings (it's really full of them) and the seats have no backrests. Let's say that from a rustic environment in a dirty alley I don't expect to spend as much as for a chic aperitif...

We found this amazing little spot by chance with my 2 children and my daughter-in-law. The most amazing charcuterie board and wine place I've ever been to. We loved it! and we loved the people working there.

Uno di quei localini italiani che dovrebbero essere protetti dall' UNESCO. Vino + taglieri di qualità...il riassunto perfetto di uno spuntino tricolore. Visitato per un aperitivo che si è tramutato in cena perché i taglieri sono sfiziosi vari e completi: provate un po' di tutto perché i prezzi sono molto ragionevoli. Anche la carta dei vini è notevole...il ciliegiolo meno caro che hanno è già un ottimo punto di partenza.

12/06/2025: I went for the first time today to have an excellent coffee standing at the counter in this small and welcoming café located inside the Genova Principe train station with tables inside and also outside with a view of the station. I have been frequenting several other places in Mentelocale for years every day such as in Via Garibaldi and in Via Balbi and I have always had a great time. In this café you can have breakfast and also lunch with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes. The staff as always in all the other places in Mentelocale are welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful and they only serve you at the table at lunch while for coffee, toasts and other drinks you order, pay and then collect your order and good prices!! 18/05/2025: Very nice restaurant in the Genoese hinterland, with attention to detail and welcoming and kind staff. The choice of dishes is not wide, but it is certainly due to the fact that everything is homemade and with top quality products. The cellar is excellent with high-level proposals. The desserts deserve the highest step of the podium not only for the panna cotta. To return.
