Outstanding in every respect. We had a couple of bottles of some Tyrolean Cab Sauvignon that was exceptional. The nettle dumplings were superb (I know, who would believe that) and the beef and pork were excellent. An A star restaurant

Excellent location, food is good but not great, though being a place for tourists it’s actually better than expected. Service is acceptable, the female servers are nice and friendly, the young gentleman didn’t want to give us a table in the shade because it was a table for 5 just in case a party of 5 shows up. Of course that table was empty all the time while we had to eat lunch half in the sun. Sincerely, he needs to re-evaluate his choice to work in the service industry

We dined there for the first time in August 2025. A pleasant discovery! The staff was kind, welcoming, and very attentive. We had barley soup with pork and legumes accompanied by tartle, and braised beef with polenta (off-menu). Both courses were excellent and in very adequate quantities. We were absolutely thrilled with the braised beef! The cooking and quality of the meat were surprising! We finished with an excellent strudel and two coffees. The final bill, including water, was €60, so definitely affordable considering the average price.
It's not among the most popular restaurants, but it's definitely worth it! Highly recommended for both the quality and the price! Definitely worth a try!

We stopped at this restaurant on our way back from a hike, and even though we were a little late, they still served us. The staff is very friendly, as everyone in San Vigilio is, and the food is plentiful and very good. The prices aren't cheap, but that's also a fairly common thing (a first course, beer, and coffee cost €30). Regardless, we definitely recommend it.
