The food is exceptionally high quality. Relatively fast service, and the atmosphere is very quiet (almost intimate). In the summer, there's live music in the small square in front.

Very nice place with a very friendly and smiling staff. Excellent local food. Recommended! Lively club music next door ( at least on a Friday) made it an excellent evening!

Got there late for lunch but kindly offered a table. The food was amaizing, we had a mussels soup, black pasta with sea food and raviolli. In one word....delicious. Highly recommended if in Oristano.

Best atmosohere food and service. Dquid salad sooo perfect. Fish so tasty. Even ordered desert as the live music was so good. Two young people sing so good English.

Like others before us, we chose Ristorante Ta Matete based on Google reviews. We loved the food. We opted for porchetta with baked potatoes and pistachio pesto and black truffle ravioli with wild boar. Excellent 😉. The espresso and wine were also very good. The service was very friendly and attentive. We would definitely eat at Ta Matete again.

Situato in una zona centrale di Oristano, offre posti a sedere all'interno o in un tranquillo cortiletto, protetto dai rumori della movida locale. Il menù è ampio, come la lista dei vini. Il personale attento e proattivo.

Questo locale si trova in un punto strategico del centro storico di Oristano,cibo eccellente,servizio ottimo per cortesia e professionalità. Ottimo compromesso qualità,prezzo e sopratutto se si vuole consumare in tranquillità,non si sbaglia. Ci vengo volentieri e lo consiglio a tutti!!!

14/07/2025: Excellent food, especially the first course: paccheri with mussels and bottarga cream; and the second course: grilled calamari, cooked to perfection; and the monkfish with turmeric and cherry tomatoes on carasau bread, a truly unique dish. The service was courteous and prompt.

09/07/2025: Enjoyed a drink and a sweet snack among the locals. Cheap!
08/07/2025: A pastry shop discovered by chance. And in this case, chance is luck. Delicious and refined products, attentive service, and great humanity. You've never tasted a croissant like this (cafes now offer those frozen, industrial products). The coffee is also excellent, as are the other pastries. But what about the panadine? What a discovery! A typical product of three towns: Assemini, Cuglieri, and Oschiri. Here we discovered the ones from Cuglieri. Their specialty is the broad beans and peas in the filling, which pair perfectly with the meat. The shape is also more elongated than, for example, those from Oschiri, which are more flattened. And then there's that atmosphere of cordiality and sincerity typical of our villages. Thank you so much to the ladies for this wonderful experience.
