08/03/2026: For years, once or twice a year, my friends and I have treated ourselves to Pompeo's Osteria Borgo Incantato. It's a regular event we wouldn't miss for anything in the world. With just 25-30 seats, the atmosphere is intimate and meticulously curated: a homey atmosphere enhanced by refined table linens, a perfect blend of elegance and warmth.
Each time, we're amazed by the dishes created with excellent ingredients, often local, but always of the finest quality. Pompeo's work is exceptional: he puts care, love, and a contagious charm into it. Honorable mention goes to the wine, always top-notch (after all, the "Cinese del Piglio" is a guarantee of absolute quality).
It's a unique place where you can experience the convivial atmosphere of an osteria, but dine with the sophistication of a Michelin-starred restaurant... all at trattoria prices. The journey here is amply rewarded by a culinary experience that's different every time. A true gem.

He's a true host, one of those authentic ones who pours passion, soul, and authenticity into every dish. Every appetizer is an explosion of flavor: different options, never banal, but always top-notch. You can taste his love for traditional cuisine, crafted with patience and expert craftsmanship, capable of taking you back to fond memories with just a single taste.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a special moment with friends or family. And then there's Pompeo, along with his staff: the real icing on the cake. Attentive, smiling, and professional, they manage to make you enjoy an experience that goes beyond a simple lunch or dinner.
