We went to Sushyamo, and we have to say it was an… unforgettable experience. Their attention to balanced portions is unique: the tuna and salmon sashimi is sliced ​​so thinly that it's almost a Zen exercise to find it on the plate, while the uramaki are so generously sized that biting into them requires the training of a world-class jaw-opening champion. A bold choice, for sure. The fortune cookies? Truly original: they stand out from all the others because they don't bring good luck. It's nice that someone finally takes the responsibility of telling the truth. We can't fail to mention the main attraction: the uramaki carousel. A revolutionary concept, because you can finally feel like you're at Gardaland while trying not to drop the maki on yourself. The fried duck, then, is a work of contemporary art: reinterpreted in such a unique way that the palate is left… taken aback. It takes courage to offer such an original flavor. And to top it off, there's the uramaki with banana, mayonnaise, wasabi sauce, rice, and seaweed. We didn't try it, but just looking at it made us feel full. It's nice to see a restaurant so daring to offer dishes we couldn't even stomach. In conclusion, Sushyamo isn't just sushi: it's an experience that changes you. We're not sure exactly how, but it certainly changes you.
