Probably the best Japanese restaurant in Rome. Unfortunately, there's always a long line. They don't take reservations for kaiten. Prices are moderately high, but definitely commensurate with the quality of the food.

A true Japanese-style restaurant. Good food, a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

I'm a longtime customer and I come back whenever I can because the quality of the food, the attentiveness of the staff, and the atmosphere are unsurpassed.

Sushisen remains one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Rome and a place I find myself returning to again and again. The quality of the fish is consistently outstanding, the menu goes far beyond the usual sushi offerings, and every dish reflects a real respect for Japanese tradition.

I visited Sushisen for the first time yesterday for lunch, my first experience at a Japanese restaurant, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise on all fronts. The cuisine is excellent: fresh, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. The staff was professional and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The value for money is definitely fair. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore Japanese cuisine or simply enjoy a good dinner or lunch. A special thanks to Zoe: she was incredibly welcoming and kind.

My family and I have known this restaurant for over ten years and have been there several times. I recently returned after a while for lunch for two and was pleased, as usual. What strikes me is how they've managed to maintain a truly high level of quality over time, which isn't always a given. It's a restaurant where you can come to try more classic versions of sushi and sashimi, but above all, unique combinations and unusual preparations, appreciating the quality and care the staff puts into their preparation and service. All this is complemented by a discreet and elegant atmosphere with soft background music. Personally, I always prefer to sit at the counter to watch the chefs because it's one of the most unique details of the place. Food quality: always top-notch. The appearance of the dishes is fantastic, as is the flavor. There are combinations I've only found at this restaurant, and the desserts are also superb. Service: fast and very friendly. Atmosphere: discreet and classy. They recommend a smart casual dress code, avoiding overly sporty or beachwear. I recommend it for romantic dinners, but also for family events with grown children or important occasions. Price: reasonable and fair for the quality of the food and service they offer, medium-high range. Plus (not to be underestimated in Rome): it's easy to reach by Metro B.

What truly stood out was the outstanding service, warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming through the evening. It was unique and memorable experience that made our night in Rome truly special.
