Sushikoi In Carpi

By far the best sushi in Monza and beyond. The fish is always fresh. Very rare to eat strangely colored or strong-smelling fish. The dinner menu is immense, they often innovate it and have taste in doing so. The Chinese dishes are well made and are vastly better than a la carte Chinese restaurants in Monza. The grilled dishes are excellent: skewers, prawns etc. all fresh. Even the fried foods are crispy and fresh. Wide choice of rolls with various flavours. Personally, I've been going there for at least 7 years, I've never found anything better in other places. The management never changes, it's always them and they care about the work they do, not the usual sushi laundry

I had dinner with friends last Saturday. I was happily satisfied with simple dishes, well looked after clean place, parking adjacent to the restaurant, prices lower than average but definitely a recommended place. Varied menu. Paper menu. Twice I asked for grilled prawns but they never arrived....... Special dishes two each. We will definitely be back!

Truly amazed. Pieces of the optimal size and with the right Fish/Rice ratio. Excellent quality fish, note of merit for tuna and sea bass which is difficult to find good. Wide choice, especially of huramaki. Too bad about the limit on sashimi 😪 UPDATE 01/2025 Quality of ingredients unchanged and therefore still excellent, however the size of some pieces has increased and there is more rice (gunkan, nigiri)

Today: well after 2 years I'm back...and what can I say?...I'll put it briefly and in the football context... It's like seeing the derby (on a Saturday evening) but from the 3rd ring of the stadium...when opposite on the opposite side of the avenue with a few euros more you can see the match from the 1st ring...(I know this well because I also know the 'another restaurant, which I won't name for the sake of correctness) A menu with photos of the dishes... which when they arrive have nothing to do with anything... Nothing to say about the quality of the food, the service and the environment...clean and quiet... The only problem is that you will be disappointed by the presentation and also by the discrepancy in the dishes regarding the photos of the menu...but why put them I say...anyway...they could compete very well with their competitors on the opposite side and instead they get lost in a glass of water....shame... (2 years earlier) Well what can I say... there's better... but also worse... I found myself on an anonymous evening (Monday) even late, it was after 10pm... served without saying well. .standard dishes...standard service...certainly no disappointment...very good...so I consider it a very valid place for expectations...but if you want to feel like a sushi taster...this is definitely the place standard..but done well.. Happy with the place and the expectations...everything average...certainly no negative notes...
