Sushi Tao In Martina franca

Since my last review of this place over three years ago (2021) I must admit that it has changed a lot for the better and in my opinion it is the best in Martina Franca. I remain of the opinion that from an "all you can eat" Japanese restaurant you cannot expect to pay 23 euros and eat like at Cannavacciuolo. But I would honestly recommend it to anyone who wants a new culinary experience.

Average, new menu but many messed up things with different flavors that don't always link together.

Excellent as always. Every time I return to Taranto from Germany it is a fixed stop.

Clean and comfortable place with friendly and always smiling staff. The sushi is of normal quality, the only flaw is the lack of choice on the menu. For example, Temaki are missing and in any case even at lunch you are forced to opt for the dinner menu (which has a higher cost) to have more choice of courses. Still recommended.

Hot dishes are better than cold ones. Cozy and well-kept location.

Family lunch on the recommendation of a friend. I took the all you can eat menu cost 19.90 + 2 cover charge. Excellent food and impeccable service. Advised.

Il servizio è stato impeccabile, i camerieri gentilissimi e l’accoglienza eccellente. Una volta accompagnati al tavolo vengono servite delle chips di polvere di granchio con la salsa agropiccante, oltre che salsa di soia, bacchette e una salvietta umida profumata e morbidissima. La qualità del sushi era buona, i ragazzi preparavano le porzioni sul momento e per questo il servizio era più lento, ma non è stata una cosa negativa, anzi ho apprezzato la freschezza del prodotto. L’unica pecca è la scelta povera rispetto al menù cena, ma d’altronde il cameriere all’inizio ci ha chiesto se volessimo usufruire del menù pranzo o cena che differisce l’uno dall’altro di qualche euro, se lo avessi saputo prima avrei senza dubbio scelto il menù cena. Sarà per la prossima. Per il resto per 19.90€ una bella esperienza.
