Sushi Queen In Trieste

Very fresh & tasty highly recommend

This restaurant was recommended to me but I was a bit hesitant to go given the not all positive reviews: I must say that I and my three other guests were completely satisfied. We had dinner on a Wednesday evening opting for the "all you can eat" menu at €19.90 per person. The place seemed very well-kept, warm and welcoming thanks to the wood paneling. The staff was very kind. We ordered all the fish-based dishes, mainly raw (Temaki, Sushi, Sashimi, Tataki and Uramaki) and we found them very tasty and of excellent quality. Compared to other restaurants located in the tourist area of ​​Trieste, at Sushi Queen the bill was about 20% lower. Next time we feel like "Japanese" we will definitely return to this restaurant.

I gave 5 stars for the great price at lunch, at dinner it is much less convenient. My daughters ate sushi with gusto, while I had cooked dishes; some were very good, I found the chicken curry too salty. Be careful that the portions of the cooked dishes are large, not small as I have often found in other all you can eat (I had a large plate of Cantonese rice and the same amount of chicken curry), so you have to take this into account when ordering. You can order twice. The staff was courteous and helpful.

My friends and I were passing through Trieste, we wanted sushi and not knowing where to go we did a little research to find one near the center and this was one of the first that appeared to us. Absolutely no regrets because we have never eaten such good sushi: with generous portions and the staff attentive to allergies and intolerances and above all they were available, despite the language difficulty. Fair price and very welcoming environment. If we were from Trieste we would definitely be regular customers.

Excellent value for money, €12.90 for lunch and you can eat as much as you want

Ordered with Deliveroo, some things are good, others a little less, for example I don't recommend the Tiger Roll maki (they didn't taste good). Slight delay on delivery
