The Place to Be in Pietrasanta One evening, while we were in Pietrasanta, we discovered this elegant lounge bar and restaurant while strolling through the streets of the city center. The jazz music enticed us to stop and take a look inside. The decor was superb. We decided to sit down for a drink since it was already late. A couple of regulars were eating, and we noticed they were serving sushi. Judging by the customer satisfaction, I think the quality is excellent. As for the cocktails, they were a real treat. It was a superb evening, and I recommend this place to anyone passing through this beautiful city.

We stumbled upon it by chance on a Sunday evening, without a reservation and with no expectations. The place is worth it because the food is excellent and plentiful, the service is prompt, and the wait is practically non-existent. The selection of authentically Japanese dishes is remarkable, with many variations and detailed explanations. The price is fair, and the music—strictly jazz—is absolutely unobtrusive and of high quality.

10/08/2025: You can eat really well here, and the waitresses are incredibly friendly. The men are a bit less friendly, and they make you pay for your seat. This might be normal in Italy, but we Dutch people don't have this.
20/06/2025: Super fresh fish in the sushi, tartar, and carpacio. We knew similar restaurants from Germany ("Oishi") and were surprised by how much more and better the fish was here.

The menu is varied, with options ranging from classic nigiri and sashimi to more unusual and creative combinations, allowing you to try different and always interesting flavors. The staff is friendly and the quality/price ratio is excellent.
20/08/2025: Best sushi I've ever had, top-notch food quality, and fast table service. Fair prices, and the owner is super friendly and helpful. The only downside is the lack of a bathroom or even a sink to wash your hands before eating. Highly recommended.
