Superpizza Away - Pizza&Fritti In Bari

Located in one of Bari's most dynamic and growing areas, brimming with restaurants and activities, this restaurant left me with mixed feelings. Let's start with the positives: the staff was helpful, courteous, and reasonably knowledgeable, contributing to a pleasant service. The food was also satisfying: the spaghetti all'assassina was good, but I personally don't consider it among the best I've tasted in the city. The same goes for the panzerotti, tasty but lacking any particular elements that make them memorable. The real downside was the location's acoustics. In my opinion, the place isn't adequately soundproofed, and the noise was excessive throughout the dinner. My companions and I really struggled to converse peacefully, making the experience less than relaxing. I even asked to be moved outside to avoid the noise, but unfortunately, my request wasn't granted. Overall, it's not a place I'd enthusiastically recommend, especially to those looking for a quiet dinner. However, it's worth a visit to try it at least once, especially to get a feel for it. Excellent pizza, both in terms of dough and ingredients. Excellent value for money. The spaghetti all'assassina is also good. Recommended!

We came to try Chef Miki's famous Spaghetti all'Assassina: excellent!!! Charred just right, not burnt; spicy but not too spicy, and beautifully plated! We really appreciated Tony's speed and kindness, and Valeria's charm! Compliments to the entire staff. It was a privilege to be invited into the kitchen by the chef: he was preparing Spaghetti all'Assassina...how wonderful! Two large pans on the stove: one for the spaghetti cooked to order, and the other for the sauce! Highly recommended! We'll be back with friends.

We went to dinner last night. Unfortunately, there was a table of maybe 14 people there, including family members of the staff and the owner. They were shouting excessively and wouldn't let us talk to each other. All the tables were occupied, and we were all forced to raise our voices to engage in conversation. Two terrible hours, certainly not enjoyable. The wait for the killer was about an hour, but still pleasant. I'd been to the other SUPER PIZZA place at the back of Via Matarrese, and it's certainly better in terms of service and ambiance. I'd say NEVER AGAIN here.

Now a regular. Excellent pizza, killer without rivals. Fast, helpful, and kind. Especially the waiter, who was super respectful and polite. Gianni, the pizza chef, has golden hands, as does the chef. Well done, well done, well done!

We had a lovely evening thanks to this pizzeria. The pizza was very good, even the Assassina, but the experience was marred by the long wait to order and receive the food. Furthermore, the tables being crowded together made it difficult to hear and converse with others at the table.

I chose this second location because I've always been to the first one, and it never disappointed me. I must say this one is also noteworthy. Everything is very good, from the appetizers to the pizzas. What really sets their menu apart is the option to order a small plate (which is perfectly acceptable after the generous appetizers) or a large portion, which never disappoints. The atmosphere is a little smaller than the first location, but always warm and welcoming. I'm sorry about the cover charge for a two-year-old who didn't even order a single drink, but otherwise, nothing to complain about.

An experience to try whenever you want a good pizza and a fabulous Assassina 🔝. Very helpful and very knowledgeable staff.

Excellent spaghetti all'assassina and panzerotti

We were there on Saturday evening with friends and we ate delicious panzerotti....... The scattite and the assassina were also excellent....... The staff were friendly, quick and orderly in serving the panzerotti........the only inconvenience was the loud noise of the people in the place.......perhaps it would need some soundproofing given the structure of the room.......but for the rest everything was very positive.
