Nice location on the seafront and view of Otranto castle. Good food but not particularly exciting. Good quality of fish. Unfortunately too much confusion resulting from poor management of the room manager.

Cozy place on the Otranto seafront, friendly staff. Classic tourist place where the quality of the dishes does not align with the price offered but... it's okay. Tuna tartare good but octopus in pignata not excellent.

Three delicious fried calamari and prawns. We ordered one more because unfortunately the portions were decidedly small as can be seen from the photo. For the rest very good, including the location and the availability of the staff

Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I was struck by the staff's attention to gluten free. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend this place to all lovers of good food and those intolerant to gluten!!!

Ottima qualità e quantità delle portate (spaghetti e vongole, scialatielli, frittura di calamari). Ottimo il sorbetto al limone con anima di arancia e lo spumone alla nocciola. Il ristorante è proprio fuori la porta di accesso al centro storico, meno affollato rispetto ad altri . Servizio efficiente. Prezzi nella media del posto.

Consigliatissimo!! Ottimo pesce fresco cucinato bene , molto attento e professionale il proprietario sia nell' accoglienza che nel proporre i piatti.. Giusto rapporto qualità e prezzo.Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

14/07/2024: Nel complesso direi buono... chiesto 2 piatti di vongole semplici per bambini ribadendo più volte senza prezzemolo e arrivano con prezzemolo... Pagati 18€ come da menù (prevedevano bottarga) Il resto ok ma non ci tornerei per una cena con bambini, prezzi per il luogo (strada) troppo alti anche se la materia prima buona Consiglio gamberi in tempura,molto buoni
13/07/2024: Siamo stati ben 2 volte, la prima era stata cosi incredibile che abbiamo voluto ripetere. Il servizio è impeccabile già dall'accoglienza, lo staff è meraviglioso e i piatti sono di altissimo livello. Abbiamo provato un pó di tutto, dagli antipasti, alla pasta, al tataki e anche i dolci...tutto preparato con estrema cura e bellezza da parte dello Chef. Sicuramente il top da consigliare se si è in zona. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

27/08/2024: I have been to Maurizio Protopapa's Osteria three times, the first with my parents and my brother, the second to celebrate my brother's graduation and the third with a group of friends. All three times I was satisfied with both the food and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the owner of the business
26/08/2024: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Martano. Welcoming location inside while the outside one, in a historic alley in the centre, is truly very suggestive. Excellent traditional Salento dishes. Precise, punctual and very courteous service. For us who are loyal customers it's a bit like coming home every time. Thanks for everything
