Sukhothai In Roma

We discovered this little gem by chance and never was a more pleasant surprise... I lived in Thailand for 8 years and it's the first time I've found those same flavours. True typical Thai cuisine in Rome! Then let's also add that they are nothing short of wonderful. What can I say... Highly recommended!!

Sukhothai, a name a guarantee. It will now be my sixth time and I can say that every dish I have tasted is truly perfect. Family-run restaurant to be counted, undoubtedly among the best Thai in Rome, the Tom kha gai soup is top and when you find it the dessert with cassava balls in milk and fresh coconut is truly delicious.

With many expectations about this restaurant, the final judgment unfortunately does not live up to it. We didn't eat badly in general but in the dishes we tasted there is something prefabricated that is a bit reminiscent of the usual Chinese dishes. The verve of genuine cuisine is missing. The place is slightly sad and, as if that wasn't enough, they are very keen to point out that entry to dogs is prohibited. The fried rolls are some of the smallest I've ever seen. High prices. It can definitely improve but at the moment I don't see any reason to go back.

I think it is one of the very rare (true) Thai restaurants in Rome. I felt very comfortable in a family-run environment. The waiters are very courteous and always smiling. They advise you on food to eat and drink combinations. They also have a sensitivity to all types of allergies including celiac allergies. Advise!

Real Thai cuisine, truly delicious! The owner and his daughter, in addition to being very kind, show that they care and make you immediately feel in the right place. Reasonable price and good value for money. Highly recommended!

We ordered several dishes, including the classic pad thai and the green and red curry and the sweet sticky rice. We were amazed by the freshness of the ingredients and the authentic flavours. The price was reasonable considering the quality of the food and service provided. I recommend Sukhothai restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in a welcoming environment.

Best Thai restaurant I've ever been to, divine food and super friendly staff

We drove an hour to eat here, and it was absolutely worth it. The restaurant is certified as authentic or faithful in ingredients and flavors by the Thai tourist board, and in fact we had the pleasure of confirming it. Dishes exactly like those tried in Siam, excellent hospitality and service, same value for money. Advised!
