My review is neutral/negative, not so much for the room, because I have to say I had a good time and it was very clean, with a comfortable bed. The negative review concerns the restaurant, because I think the à la carte price/quality ratio is unfavorable. The appetizer was three slices of warmed bread with a little lard and cherry tomatoes, the main course was a tagliata with arugula and parmesan that tasted a bit stale, a caponata on the side, dessert was a small cup with white chocolate topping and a small scoop of ice cream with a little amaretto crumbled on top—€7!!! (For €7, I expected a larger portion), 1/4 bottle of red wine (€5!), 1 liter of water (€40!)! I find this a lot of money, both for the disorganized service (the owner was running back and forth to serve the tables, which honestly made me anxious) and for the slowness of the service.

We had the daily menu for dinner, with generous portions, perfect attention to gluten and dairy products (without any extra charge!), and truly excellent value. Cleanliness, friendliness, and courtesy were top notch. We'll be back again this evening 😍

What a lovely place and such a welcome! Excellent food! Besides being a good restaurant, it's a strategic starting point for the journey of St. Francis to Assisi.

A magnificent experience. The place is small, family-friendly, but tastefully decorated. The welcome is warm. Every detail is meticulously cared for; each course is an art form. The hostess is very friendly and provides detailed information about the dishes (which are plentiful, by the way). The food is exquisite, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The quality/price ratio is excellent. For those on a budget, there's the pilgrim menu, which for €15 includes a first course, second course, and side dish—all of the same quality as the dishes on the regular menu—I think it's an unbeatable price. Congratulations! We'll be back very soon, highly recommended!

We had dinner for two this evening, and ended up at this restaurant on the recommendation of some locals. We were very pleased with the dinner; everything was delicious. We started with a chef's appetizer for two (we recommend the scrambled beef with truffles!), then continued with a first course and a sliced steak. Very fair prices! If we ever return to this area, we'll definitely stop by again. Compliments also to the lady in charge of service, she was super nice!

Mi sono fermato a Valfabbrica come fine tappa della Via di Francesco a dormire in questo piccolo hotel gestito da una signora molto gentile e premurosa che ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio. Ho deciso di cenare e non mi sono pentito perché raramente ho mangiato del cibo così gustoso e ben presentato. Naturalmente ho scelto le pietanze condite con il tartufo e una buona tagliata al gorgonzola. Sono andato a letto stanco per il cammino ma soddisfatto per quello che ho gustato.
