Beautiful welcome from the owner. Very clean rooms and bathroom.
The daughter, very sweet, came to our aid to pick us up with the car for one of our pilgrims in difficulty.
In the evening we ate at the restaurant, all the dishes explained very well, beautiful and tasty, with attention to our needs.
Pilgrim's menu with very wide choices for only 15 euros!!!
We were very satisfied, restaurant and rooms highly recommended.
To keep in mind for future holidays.

Very good restaurant! Generous portions and many truffle dishes.
Above all, they have a great selection of gluten-free pasta and desserts. In addition, the waitress was very thorough in telling us the cooking times and giving us advice. The street of the restaurant is very wide and I think there could even be some parked cars.

We only had dinner there but it was all nicely prepared. Lots of pilgrims go there with St Francis decorations but the food is much more interesting than the standard pilgrim meal. Loved my Cioccolato Bianco con Gelato artigianale al Pistacchio e Sbriciolata di Biscotto Amaretto.

Mi sono fermato a Valfabbrica come fine tappa della Via di Francesco a dormire in questo piccolo hotel gestito da una signora molto gentile e premurosa che ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio. Ho deciso di cenare e non mi sono pentito perché raramente ho mangiato del cibo così gustoso e ben presentato. Naturalmente ho scelto le pietanze condite con il tartufo e una buona tagliata al gorgonzola. Sono andato a letto stanco per il cammino ma soddisfatto per quello che ho gustato.

A pleasant surprise! Found by chance, we had lunch discovering excellent dishes and courtesy of the owner! We had a mixed appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, croutons and omelette with truffles, a superlative chickpea soup and a very tender cut. Coffee and liqueur. High quality ingredients and a truly honest price. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Valfabbrica.

Sui Passi di Francesco is an extremely well-kept and relaxing place, pleasant and refined in its simplicity.
And above all.. YOU EAT VERY WELL AT A LOW PRICE!!!!
Places like this are increasingly rare nowadays.

Returning to Valfabbrica after three years of my journey was a gift at the beginning of the year. Excellent location for visiting Umbria. I had been to Manuela and Elisa's restaurant two years ago, I returned for 3 days in their B&B and it was like being at home. Gino simple and good. Kindness, hospitality, availability and friendliness are what distinguishes them. Thanks again and I hope to return again to your beautiful region and certainly In the footsteps of Francesco.
