Sui Passi di Francesco In Valfabbrica

Mi sono fermato a Valfabbrica come fine tappa della Via di Francesco a dormire in questo piccolo hotel gestito da una signora molto gentile e premurosa che ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio. Ho deciso di cenare e non mi sono pentito perché raramente ho mangiato del cibo così gustoso e ben presentato. Naturalmente ho scelto le pietanze condite con il tartufo e una buona tagliata al gorgonzola. Sono andato a letto stanco per il cammino ma soddisfatto per quello che ho gustato.

A pleasant surprise! Found by chance, we had lunch discovering excellent dishes and courtesy of the owner! We had a mixed appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, croutons and omelette with truffles, a superlative chickpea soup and a very tender cut. Coffee and liqueur. High quality ingredients and a truly honest price. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Valfabbrica.

Sui Passi di Francesco is an extremely well-kept and relaxing place, pleasant and refined in its simplicity. And above all.. YOU EAT VERY WELL AT A LOW PRICE!!!! Places like this are increasingly rare nowadays. Honorable mention for their liver paté: IT MAKES YOU FLY!!!!!

Returning to Valfabbrica after three years of my journey was a gift at the beginning of the year. Excellent location for visiting Umbria. I had been to Manuela and Elisa's restaurant two years ago, I returned for 3 days in their B&B and it was like being at home. Gino simple and good. Kindness, hospitality, availability and friendliness are what distinguishes them. Thanks again and I hope to return again to your beautiful region and certainly In the footsteps of Francesco. I start from the assumption that the 5 stars are my rating considering the price, the offer and what I found and what these 2 nights spent here with the family passed on to me. We found the room simple and spacious, impeccable cleanliness and certainly warm ( January 5th I slept in my underwear uncovered😂). Mother and daughter welcomed us into the facility, exquisite people. We also had dinner on the last evening in their very nice restaurant with a very well-kept mise en place with style retro' (I personally liked it a lot). Very good food and carefully prepared dishes. During dinner we had the pleasure of meeting Elisa who explained to us their choices on how to manage the structure and we also exchanged opinions on the use of truffles in cuisine.We will definitely return because 2 nights were definitely not enough to see everything there is in the area.

Two days ago we booked a table by phone in this restaurant, from the phone I immediately understood the professionalism of the young lady who answered me. Then when we went to dinner, I saw a place that was very well looked after down to the smallest details, very welcoming and we ate wonderfully, the dishes were also well prepared and of excellent quality, I highly recommend it!! If I ever return to those parts I will definitely return.

Siamo capitati a Valfabbrica per caso. Abbiamo chiesto consigli appena arrivati in paese e alcune persone della zona ci hanno indicato questo ristorante. E’ stata una Bellissima sorpresa, abbiamo mangiato benissimo e con un servizio veramente gentile e attento. Abbiamo mangiato delle uova strapazzate con aggiunta di tartufo nero tipico umbro, dei crostini al caprino con il tartufo , dei piselli al prosciutto e per finire dei tozzetti molto buoni. Tutto era saporito, ben cucinato e leggero. Veramente un posto molto buono dove torneremo sicuramente , BRAVI!
