Delicious Sicilian food and top notch service with such kind, friendly, considerate people. Highly recommend. I had their pasta which was cooked perfectly and the pizzas I saw being served to others looked amazing

Review of Sud Antica Forneria Siciliana I recently visited this wonderful place and was completely thrilled! The atmosphere is truly welcoming, with an authentic Sicilian touch that immediately transports you to warm Sicily. The cuisine exceeded all my expectations: every dish was prepared with love and attention to detail. Fresh ingredients, refined flavors and impeccable presentation make every meal a true gastronomic pleasure. Special thanks go to the waiter Danya, who made my evening even more pleasant. His professionalism, kindness and attention to detail left a truly positive impression. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy real Sicilian cuisine with excellent service!

Delicious pizza and even better desserts! Perfect ingredients and perfect presentation of dishes, great Sicilian wine. Nice and helpful staff. A very nice waitress offered us a local liqueur and dessert. Tiramisu was excellent, we will definitely come back :)

Sono un ragazzo giovane, ho mangiato in questo posto a gennaio in una giornata di sole immerso nel centro storico e mi sono trovato molto bene. La professionalità del titolare e la qualità del cibo mi farà tornare presto.

Sulla centralissima via Maqueda, periodo fine anno , in 2 gg ci siamo stati 3 volte, cucina buona, ma la differenza la fa lo staff, cordialità, simpatia, servizio....se tutti fossero così, specie a palermo dove la velocità del servizio non è il massimo. Complimenti, a tutti , e menzione speciale alla ragazza delle Mauritius addetta "butta dentro", simpaticissima e coinvolgente . Bravi

03/03/2025: Ristorantino all’interno di un palazzo storico nelle immediate vicinanze dei quattro canti, ci ha colpito l’eleganza del dehor esterno e l’atmosfera quasi parigina nella sua gradevolezza. Mise en place essenziale, ma ben curata, il menù è la cucina, abbiamo scoperto essere il loro forte, piatti della tradizione con un tocco di innovazione, il servizio ed il personale sono un po’ ingessati nel servizio. Prezzi un po’ sopra la media, ma adeguati alla qualità dei piatti ed alla freschezza delle materie prime.

14/04/2025: The square is simply beautiful with the façade of the Grand Hotel Borsa. With marvellous flowering trees in front of it. No car traffic. But a few dogs. Café Borsa is an unagitated, relaxed place. Practical furniture outside (Coca Cola ;-) ). So nothing stylish. They never serve Tramezzini (although it's on the menu, but maybe it's been cancelled in the meantime). But there is non-alcoholic beer (bravo!) - unfortunately not at all common in Palermo. I like to go there for a caffè or una birra analcolica.
