Su Spuntinu In Cagliari

We had dinner last night, and the atmosphere was already welcoming as soon as we walked in: we arrived early, around 8 pm, and the place was still quiet. The welcome was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We also had the pleasure of meeting the legendary Uncle Lino, who prepared two spectacular paninozzi for us: "squartarati" (literally "quartered") is an understatement! The sandwiches were generous, delicious, and top-quality, made with fresh, local ingredients. Far from fast food: the food here is truly delicious! I absolutely recommend the Sardinian "Su Pastori" panino, a true explosion of flavor. The horsemeat versions are also worth trying, a specialty we'll definitely be back for. The restaurant is centrally located, easy to get to, and perfect for a casual yet quality dinner. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!

Great Uncle Lino.....excellent sandwiches!

Let's leave aside the scary sandwiches, the quality of the products is noticeable from the moment you receive them or open the delivery box. The smell alone is satisfying, and the taste is phenomenal. What really impressed me was Zio Lino. I was with my dad, and we didn't even manage to cross the street to pick up our order before he immediately greeted us with a very cordial "Good evening, gentlemen." Always available despite being incredibly busy, always polite and well-mannered, reminiscent of an attitude and respect for others from times gone by. I ordered takeout, arriving on time, and my wait was just long enough to ask about my order. More than a recommendation, it's a must. Go there and get the most lame sandwich you can get, McDonald's style.

I went to dinner on Sunday with two friends, I had the Trojan horse sandwich with horse burger, excellent quality meat, cost 23 euros and it was worth it, then after paying we stopped to talk with uncle Lino, very nice and calm, I recommend it

A huge selection of sandwiches with a variety of toppings, with the option to customize for the most discerning guests. I don't have photos to attach, but I'll make amends soon. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry, but the service was very fast. We'll definitely be back, taking a bit more time.

Hi Uncle Lino... I saw the other reviews where they insult you, but for me it's not like that!!! I saw some videos and I have to tell the truth, for me the sandwiches are excellent and so is the place... One day we'll come, but there's something I really care about, that when I come we'll take a photo ❤️Best regards.....

I've been following Uncle Lino's tenacity for a while... yesterday, finally coinciding with my birthday, I had confirmation that those who work with passion achieve excellent results... I recommend him because he is what is not easy to find at the moment... a mix of kindness, professionalism, quality and a smile included in the price!

After having visited and examined all the main sandwich shops in southern Sardinia, together with two dear friends, one a chef and the other an entrepreneur in the restaurant sector, I can and we can undoubtedly affirm that su spuntinu is the best for the quality/price ratio, for the cleanliness of the kitchen and for the professionalism of the people working in the kitchen.

Among the best sandwiches in town, the bread and meat (220g beef burgers each) are of the highest artisanal quality, as are the other ingredients. The sandwich is exquisite and digestible like a salad. Truly a good product! Friday evening dinner, the place was packed and the wait was normal. Highly recommended!
