Such places are worth driving along mountain roads. Wonderful atmosphere, service and food. I would highly recommend.

We returned after a year and found the same courtesy and hospitality as last year. Local delicacies, traditional cuisine, excellent wine. We will return next year for sure, the place is worth it and the road to get there is amazing, done by motorbike

A beautiful restaurant in the middle of the mountains, excellent cuisine and very kind staff. We ate a homemade appetizer, first and second course and spent the right amount... We will definitely return.

We are silly Americans who were desperate for good food driving through the mountains. We didn't know this was the type of place you needed a reservation on a Sunday... But they accommodated us anyway. They fed us until we couldn't eat any more for an inclusive price.

You don't pay €1 at the facility but believe me you eat like heaven, I really recommend it! Only for real Sardinians

Very formal place, a little cramped. Excellent service. The staff was quick, friendly and helpful. Good food with various special dishes. The roasted pecorino is fantastic 😙

Note positive: Accoglienza e servizio cordiali e impeccabili. Ottima qualità delle pietanze. Piatti variegati e ben cucinati. Porzioni adeguate e conto economico onesto. Note negative: Sala da pranzo angusta con troppi tavoli ravvicinati. Intimità e privacy per dialogare con i compagni di tavolo da dimenticare.

Il Malandrino

16/08/2024: I would highly recommend trying ll malandrino. Every dish was exceptional, the staff were delightful and the price was so reasonable. I’ll be revisiting next time I’m back in Cagliari.
16/08/2024: We had the most amazing time at this restaurant. The staff were incredible and gave excellent recommendations. I got to try the famous bottarga which was very good (it’s mullet roe salted, it won’t be for everyone but I wanted to try the local delicacy) and had a tuna steak for main, my husband had cod to start and lobster tagliatelle for main. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Pudding was a Sardinian dish (name I have forgotten) but again it was wonderful!! The price was very reasonable for fresh fish. Highly recommend this restaurant!
