Su Bullicciu In Ulassai

Excellent food, kindness, efficiency and friendliness of the staff, excellent value for money. In reality it deserves at least 6 stars

I tried this restaurant for lunch (also because it is only open for lunch) after my visit to the fantastic caves of Su Marmuri and I must say that I was amazed by the cuisine offered! We ordered the typical menu for two people at €40 each (which I highly recommend if you want to try ALL the typical Sardinian traditional land dishes) it includes an appetizer consisting of cured meats in oil and vegetables, a plate of culurgioni with tomato and malloreddus with meat sauce, soybean meat with suckling pig and kid and vegetables to conclude with a selection of typical Sardinian desserts, coffee and homemade bitters (Myrtle, vin santo, limoncello and when available mandarin) plus a bottle of water is also included and a quarter of wine! (Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of sweet coffees and digestives..) In addition to the quality of the first choice food, the great strength of the place is also the service, made up of young guys who are super kind and ready to joke. Truly an unexpected nice surprise, if you are near the town of Ulassai it is a must to come and have lunch in this excellent restaurant! Highly recommended, I will definitely come back!

The place is worth it because it is surrounded by greenery around the cave, shaded and ventilated. Traditional dishes, the first courses excellent. The service may be that we were there on a weekday, but it can be improved. Overall recommended for those who are in the area even without visiting the caves.

Sublime experience. We stayed at this farmhouse after visiting the caves. I recommend booking and enjoying a fantastic experience. We took two menus at a cost of 40 euros which included: delicious and tasty appetizers. 2 first courses (malloreddusu and culurgionis) abundant and good. Sheep and suckling pig both perfect. Sardinian desserts, coffee and bitters at will. All the waiters were very kind and present. Heartfelt congratulations to everyone

We were there for the first time (not having made the presentation they welcomed us anyway) I must say that everything was excellent from the appetizer to the coffee, super generous portions, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, for any information,,,, we we will definitely return,,,,,I highly recommend it

Da Tertenia (dove dormiamo) saliamo verso Jerzu e poi proseguiamo fino ad Ulassai, dove ci sono le grotte più imponenti d'Europa, Su Marmuri. Causa problemi di deambulazione, non possiamo visitare le grotte, ma è ora di pranzo, quindi ci fermiamo al punto di ristoro vicino all'uscita dalle stesse. Beh, mai decisione fu più azzeccata! Antipasto misto con verdure e affettati (tutto buono), culurgiones al pomodoro (ottimi), porceddu arrosto (strepitoso!*****), seadas fatta in casa (ma per davvero). Ottimo vino rosso, amari (limoncello) non solo buoni ma pure offerti al momento del conto (che definire onesto è dire poco, viste le esperienze dei gg precedenti). Che dire...110 e lode, con bacio accademico!

Cozy restaurant located at the entrance to the Su Marmuri caves, typical Sardinian menu. I personally found the culurgionis and the suckling pig excellent.

Ristorante tipico, molto gentile lo staff personalmente ho trovato buoni i culurgiones, la carne e il vino della casa.
