More than "street food"! An informal restaurant where residents and non-residents are welcome all year round, for both lunch and dinner (reservations are recommended, even though there are multiple rounds of reservations). We have stayed several times, both in the nice air-conditioned interior and on the large veranda. Really great food at more than reasonable prices. A hug and our best wishes to the owner.

Small restaurant in the center, the food is very good, the two of us split the courses from the starter to the main course and we were full anyway. Everything was delicious and to finish we ate perhaps the best pantellerian kiss on the island. Super recommended and excellent prices

Piatti dal buon sapore e molto molto abbondanti. Prezzi decisamente sotto la media dell’isola , certamente anche la location e’ diversa e molto semplice. In ogni caso da provare

Cheap and typical traditional dishes..excellent value for money. Service a little slow, the waits are long despite the double shift. Can be improved, but recommended for an Easy stop in the center of Pantelleria

First time at Strit fud, we order their flagship "Spaghetti with red prawn", unfortunately the raw material is finished. Tragedy? No, everything's OK, let's resolve this by having another first course with swordfish and clams, both delicious! Day after? We book the table and the dishes not tasted the night before, result? We would like to give 10 stars, unfortunately only 5. Until we meet again!

During my recent visit to Pantelleria, I had the pleasure of having lunch at Strit Fud, a place that far exceeded my expectations. The “Strit Fud” sandwich was a real revelation. Every single ingredient was fresh and delicious, helping to create a unique tasting experience. The service was impeccable, with friendly and helpful staff, ready to satisfy our every need. The atmosphere of the place, welcoming and lively, made our visit even more pleasant. In conclusion, Strit Fud in Pantelleria is a must for anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent quality sandwich at a truly competitive price, prepared with passion and fresh ingredients. I can't wait to return to try other delights on their menu!​

Ristorante Pizzeria La Duchessa

17/08/2024: Beautiful restaurant with very good food. An atmospheric Italian restaurant off the beaten path, where you enter and never want to leave. Very nice service, we managed to get in at 10 p.m. without a reservation, because the owner organized a place for us despite the long holiday weekend. If you want to feel the atmosphere of Italy, definitely come here. Apart from the delicious food, the owner and the staff were always interested in whether everything was OK. When we left, we were greeted with a very warm farewell, with a refreshment of home-made wine - which is very good! I recommend !!! One star less for the service, even though most of the guests are Italians, the waiters could speak basic English so that the owner wouldn't have to run around so much.
15/08/2024: Family lunch for mid-August. Nice place not full. Well presented dishes. Attention to allergies and/or intolerances. I was expecting fresh fish in a seaside place. Fried fish on the menu indicated as frozen fish. Unfortunately slow service today. Between the starters and the first course we waited more than an hour. long waiting times for a room with 30 people. Cost around 30 euros per person. We had 2 mixed starters, 4 first courses, a glass of red and 2 bottles of water. A place for families even with small children. High chairs available

Trattoria pantesca Runcune

11/08/2024: The place is really lovely, well looked after. A beautiful location. The food is quality and well cooked except that the prices are really a bit exaggerated, for example 5 ravioli filled with ricotta and mint with tomato sauce €22.00. The sore point of this restaurant is the service. Due to the excessive turnout, it is clear that they take a lot of reservations because it is a seasonal place and it fits but the whole team should be organized adequately. I saw the dining room staff tired and above all confused, they did their best to be friendly but they didn't have time to be so and this led to some forgetfulness that shouldn't exist in a restaurant of this level, such as opening a bottle of wine in a hurry (around €40) and do not let the diner taste the wine, or do not re-set the table with cutlery.
08/08/2024: A restaurant with many waiters, attentive to the image of the place and the dishes. Lots of tables both outside and inside. Prices slightly above the average of other restaurants on the island.
