After more than an hour of hiking from the Taser Alm along a partly narrow and rocky path, we arrived at the alpine pasture and were warmly welcomed. The food was okay, which is really not the best statement for a hut or alpine pasture. The bacon coleslaw was very good, as was the schnitzel, the macaroni was okay, as was the Kaiserschmarrn - this statement is rather benevolent. The price for the small portion of Kaiserschmarrn is 13.50€ instead of 15€ and just the schnitzel without anything for 15 instead of 17€ is now no reason to celebrate a children's portion!

Starting from Malga Taser you come across this Malga first. It offers typical South Tyrolean dishes. Really friendly staff.

Haxe was excellent. Crispy and just great. The homemade cake was also very, very good. The boss and waitress are very friendly.

24/08/2024: Beautiful view, slow service. Ordered fried eggs with a hint of speck, tasteless omelette with cheese, excellent buckwheat cake, mediocre coffee
17/08/2024: Typical South Tyrolean "alpine hut" with a beautiful open view of the valley... you can get there after a walk of about 45/50 minutes from the free car park before Lake Valdurna; several tables available, just sufficient quantity of dishes, tasty but not "memorable", normal prices; at the mountain hut you will find various animals including rabbits 🐰 chickens 🐓 goats 🐐.

Konditorei Cafè Röck

04/08/2024: I took a sandwich with speck, a cooked one with fontina cheese and a large toast. Two orange juices and a coke. Two coffees. All good but a little expensive in my opinion.
21/07/2024: After a disappointing sweet snack at the super renowned Christian's pastry shop the previous day we decided to try this pastry shop in the center of Campo Tures. Finally our sweet tooth has been satisfied. Abundant portions, desserts and ice cream cups capable of satisfying even the most greedy. It will become a fixed stop during our holidays.
