Street Good In Scilla

Small menu selection, but tasty and cheap. The gnocchi was fantastic and filling. Nice operators. The plastic cutlery bothered us, even though it seems so common here. Restaurant is recommended for snacks.

Excellent food and very fresh fish. Among the narrow streets of Scilla Alta, this place reserves pleasant surprises. The place is small but the courtesy of the staff is great; jovial and super helpful. The first off-menu dish with albacore is exceptional: special praise to the cook! Mrs. Paola P.S. If you want to eat excellent fish (mussels and fried fish) you absolutely have to stop by here! Generous and delicious portions. It's best to book well in advance to find a seat as the place is very small - but really welcoming.

This place was recommended to us and never was the advice more welcome! We found a welcoming place where we could eat the typical dishes of the area really well. Everything was excellent, from the first courses (pasta with pistachio pesto and prawns) to the fried dishes (crispy and inviting) to what was the best for us: grilled swordfish placed on a bed of mixed salad. The best meal ever! Generous portions. At the end of the dinner we were offered limoncello. The restaurant is located a stone's throw from the square and it is advisable to book in advance given the large number of customers. In addition to a place to eat well, the real surprise was the kindness, attention and smiles of all the staff who made us feel at home.
