Stravinskij Bar - Hotel De Russie In Roma

We always love staying at the Hotel de Russie but this time chose to try a different hotel, but still came back to de Russie for dinner at the Stravinskij bar. The service was stellar as always and Chiara was the best. She was so attentive and helpful during our dining experience. Prices are high but the cocktails and food were well worth it. Cacio e Pepe was incredible! Can’t wait to come back.

Great drinks and absolutely amazing service by Chiara

Chiara was incredibly attentive and friendly towards me. As a solo traveller I appreciated being taken care of by Chiara and the other staff, even though they were incredibly busy. The bartender Anthony made the most delicious mojito I’ve ever had (even though it wasn’t on the menu). The cream of asparagus soup was delicious - I highly recommend! Though it was an expensive dine at €55 for a cocktail and soup, if you are up for a little splurge it is a great place to do it.

The place ? A pleasant stopover in a magnificent garden where the calm and tranquility make us forget the noise and the hordes of tourists teeming in the neighboring streets The service ? Correct The map? We're not going to make a big deal out of it...!!The superb vegetation easily erases the lack of pep in the culinary offerings..

Stunning place (gardens surrounding the restaurant, the bar is a patio). A lot of hype but I wouldn't say it's that great... Cocktails are just ok, service was so slow and prices -as expected at the most expensive hotel in Rome- high. It is interesting to check it out at least once, but be warned: they do make you wait (even with free tables), I guess it's a part of the experience. Can't make reservations on weekends unless you are a guest. Also it was the only place in Rome that charged a mandatory 15% gratuity fee on the bill, on top of €10 water and €25 cocktails it feels steep considering they took around 1 hour between the table was ready and the drinks got there.

Vous passez de la folie des rues bondées de touristes à une ambiance apaisante. Il suffit de passer le porche puis de traverser l'accueil pour vous poser à une table. Ce jour il faisait doux et je retrouvais un lieu que je connaissais. J'y ai dégusté un simple spritz avant d'aller dîner. Le service est soigné et vous êtes dans le coin paisible d'un des palaces romains. Je me suis plongé dans un livre et j'ai laissé le temps s'écouler.

I have been at Strawinsky Bar last Sunday for lunch. The location exceeded my expectations. Staff was very kind. I would like to mention Sara particularly who let us feel like at home with her personal touch and very knowledgeable. I am a Bloody Mary lover and it was definitely the best one in town. More than recommended.
