Excellent place, good and fresh cicchetti, very friendly staff. Very fast service. The meatballs, the crostini with cod and the pulled pork sandwich are excellent! Excellent prices for being in Venice

When we arrived in Venice on 24.10.2024, Strani was the first place we visited. A wonderful waitress helped us. Boss was also behind the bar. Their Cicchetti from Aperol Sp. We liked it very much. I even created an Instagram post, and that polite waitress chose the music I added. We left there with these good feelings. When our evening tour was over, we returned to the same place. There was a young man and woman whose team had changed. First he gave a tiny table to 6 people. We asked him to pull over to one of the many empty tables. He was extremely reluctant and unresponsive. Both staff looked unhappy. Still, we had fun, and I am writing this comment in case the Boss and the Polite Lady whom we met at noon (I apologize, I don't know their names) read them, they may want to take precautions.

A very nice, intimate place away from the waterfront. And the boss... a real Italian, calling loudly from the door Buongiorno and then Prego :-) and then politely explaining what it was, what snack it was and what beers were in the pourers. We spent nice moments there with snacks, sandwiches, Spritz and craft beers, while it was raining outside like never before in Venice. Positive atmosphere in every aspect.

Cozy place with good and fast service, very friendly waitress. The downside is that the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired and the size of the cichetto are tiny.
